Here are ten basic relationships mistakes all guys end up making:

  1. Hiding things from your partner

Yes, everyone is entitled to some privacy and space, regardless of their relationship status. And even when you’re committed to a person, there are some things that you should absolutely never tell your partner. But there’s an extremely fine line between having a few secrets and downright lying. A secret isn’t usually malicious but when you lie to your partner, you have to follow it up with a thousand more lies to cover things up. And no matter how hard you try to hide it, the truth always comes out!

  1. Being scared of ending it when the time has come

Breaking up with someone can be equally heartbreaking and painful as being broken up with. You don’t want to hurt the other person. You don’t want to be the reason for their tears. And you definitely don’t want to have them hate you forever! But this is something you signed up for the minute you entered into the relationship. You couldn’t know for sure how bad it can possibly get. You couldn’t know at the very beginning if you would be willing to spend the rest of your life with this one person. But you do now! If you know it’s time to end things and move on, then stop delaying it.

  1. Being scared of ending it because you don’t want to find someone else

This one is pretty self-explanatory. You know this is the worst reason to stick with someone but still, almost every single person in the world is guilty of making this mistake!

  1. Not giving enough freedom and space

Don’t call her all the time. Don’t expect her to meet you every single day. Don’t question her on who she hangs out with or what she does during the day. Just don’t be so possessive and needy! You need to give her the time to actually miss you. You need to give her space so she doesn’t start taking you for granted.
