6. Clean up after yourself.
Always make it a point to clean up after yourself. You shouldn’t be treating her as if she’s a maid or a servant who cleans up after your messes. You should be mature and independent enough to handle your messes on your own. You can’t keep on relying on her to do these things for you.
7. Respect her boundaries.
Just because the two of you happen to already be in a relationship together doesn’t mean that you are going to be entitled to her in her entirety. She is still her own person with her own boundaries and convictions. You have to be able to respect her individuality and her freedom even if the two of you are already together.
8. Take her out shopping.
You don’t even have to pay for anything. Just go out and be there with her when she goes shopping. When she asks you for advice on what to buy, give your honest opinion. Just let her know that you’re there for her and that you care.
9. Reply to her texts promptly.
Always make sure that you promptly respond to her text messages. You want to make sure that you don’t keep her waiting. If you’re busy, at least reply to her at your soonest convenience. Don’t be thinking that it’s okay for you to not respond to her just because you couldn’t be bothered to do so.
10. Allow yourself to become vulnerable to her.
Allow yourself to open up to her. Let her see who you are. Never make her feel like you’re unwilling to let her in. Always make her feel welcome. Always make her feel like she can count on you to be real and genuine with her even when it’s difficult for you to do so.
