Sometimes, the guy who you might think is “the one” really isn’t after all.
That happens when it comes to love and relationships. It happens quite a lot. It happens fairly often. And the reason that it happens so much is that a lot of girls delude themselves into thinking that their love is real. However, reality might have something different to say about that.
Love is so beautiful and amazing. Everyone wants to have love in their passions. However, love isn’t always going to turn out the way that you want it to. And sometimes, in your desperation, you might manufacture love out of thin air. That’s always going to be a bad idea. Hence, you still want to make sure that the love you share with another guy is real.
If you notice that a lot of the things that are listed here apply to the man that you’re with, then you’re in bad luck. It’s very much likely that he isn’t the one for you. And if that’s the case, you should walk away. This isn’t going to be good for your state of well-being if you stay with someone who isn’t “the one.” After all, what’s the point of love if it isn’t real?
You don’t have the same opinion on bearing children. It’s essential that the two of you can agree on this matter. However, if you don’t, then that could cause some severe friction in your relationship. And for a lot of couples, this friction is not easy to recover from.
2. You don’t have a reliable system in place for your relationship.
The two of you haven’t defined the roles in your relationship. The two of you can’t seem to agree on what you bring to the table in your relationship. And this can be a problem because this can shake the chemistry between the two of you.
3. You don’t talk about new things anymore.
You don’t have quality conversations anymore at this point. When you have conversations, it’s mostly circular. You keep on talking about the same things over and over again. This means that you aren’t connecting anymore through your conversations.
You don’t share similar values. Although, in most relationships, it’s okay for couples to have disagreements now and then. But when your fundamental principles don’t align, it can generate a lot of friction in the relationship moving forward.
5. You don’t have the same plans for the future.
When your plans can’t seem to merge, then it’s going to be very hard to picture a future for your relationship as well. Hence, it’s very likely that either one of you is going to budge or the relationship collapses altogether.
6. You avoid having specific arguments.
The most active couples aren’t those who don’t have arguments. The most active couples are those who can have tough conversations and still come out on top. However, if you avoid having discussions altogether, it shows how insecure you are about your relationship as a whole.
7. You tell lies to one another.
You aren’t exactly the most honest to one another in your relationship. It’s relatively common whenever the two of you lie to each other. And that’s not what a relationship should be made up of. After all, there should always be a healthy practice of honesty in a relationship.
8. You hold each other back from your dreams.
You should never have to give up on your goals and dreams to be in a relationship with someone. Your partner should be your number one supporter in your search for your ideas.
9. You drive each other crazy.
You’re in a constant state of irritation whenever you are around one another. As a result of your relationship, you are being driven crazy. The two of you can’t seem to find any middle ground. Hence, you irritate the heck out of each other.
10. You are a worse person than before because of your relationship.
When you’re in a relationship with the right guy, then you should always be a better person than before. Being with the one you’re meant to be with means you have someone who pushes you to be better. However, if you are worse off, then you’re probably not intended to be.
11. You aren’t happy.
And of course, when you aren’t happy, then you know that you aren’t with the man that you’re meant to be with. When you’re in love, you should never be unhappy. Happiness should be a non-negotiable aspect of being in a romantic relationship.
