4. You will encounter arguments and fights.
Your fights aren’t really going to fix themselves just because the two of you decide to get married. You are still going to have to work on coming to a compromise on various things in your relationship. You are still going to have to put a lot of effort into meeting each other halfway.
You can’t expect that you will be able to overcome your problems without fixing them just because you’re married. It doesn’t work that way. But with the right guy, it becomes a lot easier to overcome these issues.
5. Marriage won’t necessarily guarantee full commitment on both of your parts.
If the guy that you’re getting married with isn’t necessarily sure about committing to you for the long-term, then there is very little evidence to suggest that any of that is going to change once you get married.
However, if you’re marrying the right guy – then you know that his level of commitment for you is never going to change. It’s only going to grow stronger over time.
6. Marriage doesn’t mean that you get boring.
Just because you end up marrying one another doesn’t mean that you’re both going to become a boring couple. You don’t have to limit yourselves to just staying at home and going to sleep early every night.
You can still go out and have fun with friends. You can still go on adventures together as a couple. You are still fully capable of living a life that is full of thrill and excitement.
Can you have a relationship long term with someone without getting married?.
