A lot of men are going to want to share a bed with you. But I’m not that kind of guy. I know that I’m the right guy for you because I’m not just looking to share a bed. I’m looking to share my life with you. Of course, I know just how easy it can be to say something like that. It’s an entirely different story when it comes to actually living up to those words. But for now, that’s really all I can do. All I can give you right now is the promise that I’m going to be more than just every other guy you’ve ever met. I can promise that I’m going to be different from all the other men who have broken your heart.
I can promise you that I’m going to share with you the entirety of my being; that I’m not looking to hold anything back or keep anything hidden. I can promise you that I can share my entire life with you without even having to think about it. I will share my life with you without any hesitation. I will share my life with you without any second thoughts. And yes, for now, these are very hollow and unproven words. But I ask that you give me an opportunity to prove myself. That’s all I can really ask of you right now. Give me one shot to prove to you that I’m the right man for you; and I’m fairly certain that you won’t be disappointed.
I want to be able to share my whole life with you by going on adventures with you. It’s not just the idea of you and me getting into a plane and jetting off to a random location where you and I can just bond and make love. I’m not even saying that we have to go anywhere beyond the city that we both live in. I’m saying that I’m willing to go on this adventure of love with you. I’m saying that I’m willing to share with you a seat on this rollercoaster that we call life. I’m telling you that I’m ready to share a space in my heart for you because you’re the partner that I want to see and experience the world with. And I’m always going to be carrying my heart with me wherever I go; because you’ll always be at my side.
When I tell you that I want to share my whole life with you, I’m literally saying that I want you to be a permanent fixture in the life that I’m living. I’m not saying that I want you to have all of the material items in my possession. I’m not even saying that you’re going to get full access to all of the money that I have stored up in my bank account. I’m not saying that you’re going to get my house, my car, and everything else that I own. I’m telling you that you can have me – and the entirety of me. I’m telling you that I want to share my literal life with you; everything that composes my being is yours to have, hold, or discard. It’s up to you.
I want to share my whole life with you in the sense that all of my accomplishments will be my accomplishments. All of your failures will be my failures. I want to share my life with you in the sense that for every weakness that you have, I can be your strength – and vice versa. I want you to feel like you always have someone who can help complete you. To me, you are a missing piece to a puzzle. In fact, you’re the most important piece.
And the puzzle of my life would be incomplete without you in it. When I tell you that I want to share my life with you, I’m saying that I want to merge my world with yours – wherein I become passionate about the things that you’re passionate about; wherein the two of us slowly meld into a singular entity the more we get to know one another.
When I tell you that I want to be able to share my whole life with you, it means that I want you to see my soul for what it really is. It means that I won’t be afraid to open myself up to you even at the risk of getting myself hurt. I want to share my life with you in the sense that I want to be an open book. I want you to have full access to everything that composes my life. I want you to be able to see me for who I really am. When I tell you that I want to share my life to you, I’m saying that I love you – and I hope that you can love me too.
