Aaron Carter dies at 34

Aaron Carter, 34, has passed away.

Reports indicate that his friend found him unresponsive early this morning and later pronounced him dead.

Carter became famous as a child pop star when he sang songs like “I want candy”.

A number of sources report that Aaron Carter drowned at home (bathtub) in Lancaster and died as a result.

The 34-year-old was the younger brother of the Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter.

During his career, he opened for the Backstreet Boys on numerous tours and concerts and became an established solo artist.

Aaron Carter sold millions of copies of his four albums during the late 90s and early noughties, the first of which was when he was only nine years old.

Also appearing in Broadway musicals and on the US TV show Dancing With The Stars, the star turned to rap.

He was the boy next door with a cute smile and a promising future in the entertainment industry. At just 10 years old, he had already landed a record deal and was well on his way to becoming a pop sensation.
