Cameron Diaz is a famous Hollywood actress known for roles in movies like Vanilla Sky, The Mask, Charlie’s Angels, The Holiday, Knight and Day, There’s Something, Annie, and Bad Teacher.
Throughout her career, Diaz won several accolades for her amazing acting skills, including four Golden Globe nominations, three Screen Actor Guild Awards, a British Academy Film Award, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
She is the fifth highest-grossing actress at the domestic box office in Hollywood.
The Vanilla Sky alum got married to rockstar Benji Madden in 2015, and the couple shares a beautiful and peaceful life together. They welcomed their daughter, Raddix Madden, in 2019 via surrogate.
According to Us Weekly, a source close to Diaz revealed that she went through a lot to get pregnant, and eventually, when she couldn’t carry a child by herself at the age of 47, the couple resorted to surrogacy.
“They went through so much to get to this point,” the source said. “Cameron feels like this baby is truly a miracle.”
Another source added that the couple tried IVF treatments, acupuncture, and supplements but nothing worked.
“It just hasn’t worked out yet. … They don’t know exactly what it will look like, whether it will be natural or through adoption or surrogacy, but they aren’t giving up. It’s been a roller coaster of emotions, yet they still believe there will be a happy ending.”
While making an appearance on Michelle Visage’s Rule Breakers podcast, Cameron Diaz spoke about how her husband changed her life and perception – giving her true meaning and happiness.
According to Us Weekly, she said, “He’s really taught me to value myself a lot more.”
“I didn’t [expect it] because I think that I was receiving so much validation elsewhere and in all these other ways. With our marriage, I learned how to really go all in. You know what I mean? Like, completely – nothing else comes before this.”
She added, “We know that no matter what we can just go and be just a family anywhere and we’re fine. We don’t need any of the things that we have, other than each other.”
A year before tying the knot to Benji, Diaz appeared in a musical comedy-drama film, Annie, directed by Will Gluck.
That was her last film before she took a long hiatus from acting without announcing her retirement. In 2018, however, she confirmed that she was quitting acting.
Last month, after almost nine years of staying away from the entertainment industry, Diaz was seen appearing alongside her Annie costar, Jamie Foxx, in London.
The duo will appear together in a new Netflix original film – Back in Action.

According to an insider, Cameron only agreed after Foxx persuaded her to star alongside him in one last film.
“When this project came along and she was pursued by Jamie Foxx, who she has known and worked with for years, she decided to go for it.”
After seeing their favorite actress ‘Back in Action’ many fans exclaimed with joy and said they can’t wait to watch the movie.
“Love Diaz, can’t wait for the movie,” one commented.
“Love that she’s back. Need a sequel to The Holiday!!! Love love her!!!!” a second wrote.
“I needed this today. Seriously. She’s amazing. All the way back to Mask days,” a third added.
However, many people also claimed that the now-50-year-old actress looks nothing like her former self in the new photos.
“That doesn’t really look like Cameron Diaz. Are you sure,” one wrote.
“That doesn’t look like her in my opinion, WTH!!” another agreed.
“It looks likes She’s had some work done to her face? Hopefully it’s just a bad picture,” said another.
A few fans also said that the actress got so much plastic surgery done on her face that her smile looks like the Joker’s now.
