Elon Musk Welcomed Twins with One of His Tesla Executives

Elon Reeve Musk, most commonly known as Elon Musk, is a renowned business tycoon and investor. He is the founder, CEO, and Chief Engineer at SpaceX, Architect of Tesla, Inc, founder of The Boring Company, and co-founder of Neuralink Corporation and OpenAI.

According to the new Forbes list of the world’s wealthiest people, Musk is now the world’s richest person. In 2022, he overtook the founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, who was earlier number 1 on the list. Elon’s total net worth is almost 210 billion dollars.

Recently, the Insider reported that the billionaire secretly has twins with one of his executives, Shivon Zilis. She is 36 years old and works as the director of operations at his brain-machine interface company, Neuralink.

According to a court document, the outlet also revealed that Musk welcomed his twins right before he welcomed a child with the Canadian musician Grimes through surrogacy.

The twins were born in November 2021, and now Elon has nine children in total.

“Musk and Zilis filed a petition in April to change the twins’ names in order to ‘have their father’s last name and contain their mother’s last name as part of their middle name,’ according to the court documents.”

“The twins were born in November, just weeks before Musk and Claire Boucher, the musician who performs as Grimes, had their second child via surrogate in December.” The Insider wrote.

According to Insider, Shivon Zilis was born in Ontario, Canada. She first met Elon through OpenAI, the artificial-intelligence research-and-deployment nonprofit organization created in 2015.

She studied economics and philosophy at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, and made it to the Forbes’ list of venture-capital categories. After that, she was hired to work at Elon’s company, Tesla.

Daily Mail wrote that, In 2021, Shivon posted a throwback photo with the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, in which she was briefing him on his Silicon Valley startup.

“In 2013 I was asked to brief Prince Harry about tech startups,’ she tweeted. ‘Here I’m telling him how the Basis watch on my wrist came into existence through a crowdfunding campaign. At the time I wondered why he was interested in tech startups. 8 years later we finally know the answer!” she wrote.

In 2020, Zilis defended Elon when he was criticized for moving Tesla out of California due to the pandemic restrictions.

A member of the California State Assembly named Lorena Fletcher took to Twitter and wrote,

“F**k Elon Musk.”

“This makes me sad. No one’s perfect but I’ve never met anyone who goes through more personal pain to fight for an inspiring future for humanity – and has done so tirelessly for decades. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but mine is that there’s no one I respect and admire more.” Zilis responded to her tweet.

This news of the future trillionaire having twins came right after his daughter filed a petition in court to change her name.

The eighteen-year-old requested the court that she wanted to change her name from Xavier Alexander Musk to Vivian Janna Wilson. She is one of five kids that Elon shares with his ex-wife, Justine Wilson. Justin is a Canadian author and was married to Musk for eight years, from 2000 to 2008.
