Emily Ratajkowski Officially Files for Divorce from Husband, “He cheated, It’s Gross”

It has been reported by Page Six that model and actress Emily Ratajkowski has filed for divorce from her husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, after four years of marriage.

According to the news outlet, the 31-year-old model decided to part ways with the film producer because of his infidelity.

“Court records seen by Page Six show that the Inamorata designer filed in Manhattan Supreme Court Thursday and noted it was contested, meaning there are issues to be litigated.”

Earlier in July, the outlet reported that the duo was calling it quits over McClard’s cheating allegations.

“Yeah, he cheated; he’s a serial cheater. It’s gross. He’s a dog,” a source close to Emrata revealed.

Later, PEOPLE magazine confirmed the news and reported,

“They split recently. It was Em’s decision. She is doing okay. She is strong and focused on her son. She loves being a mom.”

The couple announced their marriage in 2018 and share one child together – a son, Sylvester Apollo.

After their separation, rumors started circulating in the media industry; comedian and influencer Claudia Oshery also discussed Sebastian’s cheating allegations on her podcast, The Morning Toast, and said it was an open secret.

“It’s known that her husband has cheated on her, and they’re filing for divorce. It is definitely not a surprise to a lot of people in the industry.”

The Gone Girl actress married the movie producer in 2018, just a few weeks after they were spotted publicly showcasing affection for each other in Los Angeles.

“Soooo I have a surprise,” she wrote on her Instagram, “I got married today.”

After her announcement, Us Weekly reported that the couple had known each other for years. “A source revealed that the former couple had known one another “for years” before they fell in love. “They were all in a friend group … He wasn’t a stranger,” the outlet published.

Later the Cruise actress appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show and told him that it only took her thirty seconds to decide that she wanted to marry Sebastian.

“I thought about it for about 30 seconds,” she laughed. “It was a city hall courthouse wedding. I guess I didn’t know what I always wanted to do, which is maybe why it was so untraditional.”

Emily said of the proposal, “He proposed to me at Minetta Tavern, and he didn’t have a ring, so I was like mmm, Nah! And then he took the paper clip that the bill was paid with and made me a ring, which I actually thought was really romantic.”

After her unexpected and all-of-a-sudden wedding announcement on social media, many people criticized the couple and said they were both hasty.

However, the model didn’t entertain any hate comments toward her and her now ex-husband and defended their decision of getting married so quickly by saying that she had known McClard for a very long time.

“We knew each other for a long time before,’ she said in an appearance on Busy Tonight. “He likes to joke, ‘Yeah everyone thinks we got married quickly, but you vetted me for two years.”’

In October 2020, Emily announced that she was expecting a child and explained her reasons of keeping not revealing her baby’s gender.

“WHEN MY HUSBAND AND I tell friends that I’m pregnant, their first question after “Congratulations” is almost always “Do you know what you want?” She told Vogue at that time. “We like to respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then. Everyone laughs at this.”

“There is a truth to our line, though, one that hints at possibilities that are much more complex than whatever genitalia our child might be born with: the truth that we ultimately have no idea who—rather than what—is growing inside my belly. Who will this person be? What kind of person will we become parents to? How will they change our lives and who we are? This is a wondrous and terrifying concept, one that renders us both helpless and humbled.”

Two years after her son’s birth, the model and actress confirmed the news of her split from her producer husband in a recently posted TikTok video where she addressed herself as a ‘recently single person.’
