Everyone is well-aware by now that Kanye’s high-profile marriage to Kim Kardashian has ended, and the two aren’t necessarily amicable. On one end, Kim has reportedly been getting serious with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, who was recently in a high-profile engagement with Ariana Grande before the singer decided to call it off. It certainly hasn’t helped the situation that Kanye and Pete have had public beef with one another.
Although, despite everything, it looks like Kanye is quickly looking to move on with his own love life. In fact, the rapper was reportedly in a relationship with Uncut Gems star Julia Fox before breaking up back in February.
But Kanye is back on the dating horse with 24-year-old Chaney Jones, who has recently been spotted sporting a tattoo of Kanye’s name. If that isn’t commitment, then what is?
Going Public
Jones recently shared in a now-expired Instagram story a quick snapshot of her Kanye tattoo. Of course, eagle-eyed fans were quick to grab shots of the tattoo. Jones currently has a large following on Instagram with more than 609k followers.
Of course, this might be very small when compared to Kim Kardashian’s social media empire. Still, many fans have already drawn comparisons between the two, particularly when it comes to their bodies and overall style.
Jones’ tattoo is a simple and elegant rendition of Ye, which is the name that Kanye legally adopted as of November last year. With this inking, it seems like the couple is starting to really get serious with one another. It’s been reported that Jones got the tattoo just after the two came back from a trip to Japan.
Dramatic Love Life
Kanye, as a person, is no stranger to drama. Of course, no one can forget the infamous feud he had with pop star Taylor Swift that stems from when he interrupted Swift as she accepted the MTV VMA for Best Music Video back in 2009. It should come to no one’s surprise at this point that Kanye doesn’t like the fact that Davidson is now dating his ex-wife.
In his music video for his hit song Eazy, West took a swipe at Davidson by showcasing a cartoon version of the comedian being buried alive. It’s also worth noting that Davidson has also gotten a tattoo as a tribute to Kim K, which reads my girl is a lawyer.
This is in reference to the fact that Kardashian has been taking law classes to pursue a career in the field, just like her father.
Kanye was also notably suspended from Instagram for 24 hours after he harassed Pete Davidson and talk-show host Trevor Noah on the platform. Hopefully, this new relationship will bring about a more positive side of the rapper.
