Keanu Reeves is one of the most loved and popular actors in Hollywood. Every role that he’s played so far has gained immense popularity, and fans go crazy whenever he appears on the big screen.
Reeves is famous for acting in blockbuster movies like John Wick, Speed, Point Break, The Matrix, The Lake House, The Replacements, Exposed, Constantine, Man of Tai Chi, and Replicas.
In November 2021, Keanu spoke to Esquire Magazine for an interview and revealed that he’s married to his Bram Stoker’s Dracula co-star, Winona Ryder, ‘under the eyes of God.’
“We did a whole take of a marriage ceremony with real priests. Winona says we are. Coppola says we are. So I guess we’re married under the eyes of God,” Reeves told Esquire.
The pair appeared together in several movies, including Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Destination Wedding, A Scanner Darkly, and The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.
Besides that, they have also admitted to having ‘big, healthy crushes’ on one another on multiple occasions.
Previously, The Edward Scissorhands actress also admitted to being married to Keanu in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
“We actually got married in Dracula. No, I swear to god I think we’re married in real life. In that scene, Francis used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master and he did the whole thing. So, I think we’re married.”
Both Keanu and Winona have been in multiple relationships in their lives so far, and have never been married.
Ryder dated The Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp from 1989 to 1993.
After breaking up with Johnny, Winona went through a rough patch in her life.
According to Daily Mail, the actress also shared that she even started comparing herself to her 1999’s Girl Interrupted character Susanna Kaysen who made a failed suicide attempt and, consequently, spent eighteen months in a psychiatric hospital.
“That was my Girl, Interrupted real life. I remember I was playing this character who ends up getting tortured in a Chilean prison [in the 1994 drama The House of the Spirits].”
In 2001, the Beetlejuice actress shocked everyone when she was caught shoplifting from a Beverly Hills store. Later, she was convicted of stealing expensive designer merchandise from an exclusive department store.
New York Post reported that the actress once opened up about that miserable phase of her life and said that she just wanted to stop.
“I won’t get into what happened, but it wasn’t what people think. And it wasn’t like the crime of the century! But it allowed me time that I really needed, where I went back to San Francisco and got back into things that … I just had other interests, frankly.” She told Porter Magazine in 2016.
After going through a tough time in her past, now the actress is in a happy relationship with an American fashion designer and entrepreneur, Scott Mackinlay Hahn. The couple started dating in 2011 and have been together ever since.
As for Keanu, he’s also in a happy relationship with his longtime girlfriend, Alexandra Grant.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, the John Wick actor shared a sweet insight into their relationship.
When asked about his last moment of bliss, Keanu said, “A couple of days ago with my honey. We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together.”
