Michael Jordan’s Son Marcus Insists His Family ‘Is Fine With His Relationship’ With Larsa Pippen

Marcus Jordan has debunked the impression that his family is not pleased with his relationship with The Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen.

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the basketball player, 32, said his family, especially his father, legend Michael Jordan gave him and Larsa his ‘stamp of approval’ contrary to his recent statement about their romance.

“Well, we spent some time together during the holidays. She came and visited some of my family, I visited some of her family, so I think that’s kinda what, once we realized our families were OK with it, then I feel like that was easier for us,” he told ET.

“We spent Thanksgiving together last year, and you know my family loves her. They think she’s great,” Marcus added. “Ultimately, I think my family just want to see me happy. And so as long as I’m happy, they’re happy with, you know, where I’m living.”

Meanwhile, his love interest and much older girlfriend, Larsa Pippen, who is also an OnlyFans model, said about their relationship,

“We had just started hanging out as friends, I feel like that’s kinda what the motivational thing for us, we were like, ‘OK fine, now we’re dating, so now should we tell everyone?”

Marcus’ comments came a few days after his father, Michael Jordan, 60, told the paparazzi he doesn’t approve of his son’s relationship with his rival’s ex-wife.

When approached by paparazzi in Paris on Sunday, Michael Jordan, 60, who was dining with his wife, Yvette Prieto, 44, laughed before one photographer repeatedly asked him if he approved of his son dating Pippen. He finally said, “NO!” before getting into his car.

Last week the couple celebrated Larsa’s 49th birthday, and Marcus shared a number of sultry snaps of his social media to cherish the occasion.

In one of the clips shared on his Instagram stories, the basketball player was seen smoking hookah from her bust as they danced to 50 Cent’s P.I.M.P. in an unknown club. MJ exhaled and did his best, ‘Wedding Crashers’ impression as the Real Housewives star posed in a sultry low-cut black dress.

“Happy birthday to my best friend & partner in crime,” he wrote on one of the snaps.

Last month, the couple sat down in an interview with E! News and shared their thoughts about the criticism surrounding their relationship.

“I let people that are misinformed be misinformed,” Marcus told the outlet. “I feel like people see our last names and immediately want to have some sort of reaction or opinion. But I feel like as people get to know us and understand our situations more, they’re way more happy for us and just want to see us to live in our truths and be happy.”

Larsa, who was previously married to former NBA player Scottie Pippen and shares four children with him, said: “People just want to see you happy and there’s just a few people who are just miserable.”
