The truth is that jealousy isn’t really all that uncommon. In fact, it’s an emotion that a lot of us are familiar with. We’re only humans after all. And we’re always going to have a tendency to want the things that we don’t have. However, whenever you find yourself having jealous rages, then you need to be able to police yourself. You have to understand that jealousy can really take a lot of happiness from your life – happiness that you deserve.
You need to be able to take a step back and look at the grand scheme of things. There are so many good things that are going on in your life. There are so many things that you should be thankful for. In fact, there is probably a lot of people who are jealous of the things that you have going on for yourself. You never want to be struggling with jealousy. That is such an unhealthy way to go about life. You don’t want to be depriving yourself of the beautiful life you could be having; a life that is free from the perils of jealousy.
Being overly jealous all of the time can lead you to feel unfulfilled and unhappy in your life. It can take control of your thoughts to the point that you fail to notice the things that you should really be happy about. And it’s always draining. When you are jealous all of the time, that’s just a lot of wasted energy. You are expending too much energy with all of these negative feelings and emotions that come with jealousy and you never want that for yourself. You always want to be making more room for the happier and more positive things in life. You need to be taking a clearer look at the life that you’re living so that you can see that there are plenty of things for you to smile about.
THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IF YOU WANT TO STOP BEING JEALOUS
1. Understand who you really are and what you have.
If you find yourself getting jealous of other women all the time, it’s likely that you don’t really have a profound understanding of who YOU are. You might have a lot of insecurities within yourself that you really need to address and deal with if you want to be better. You might think that the women around you are better people and that they live better lives. That just can’t be true all of the time. Every single day you wake up, you need to tell yourself that you are amazing and that you have a life that is worth living. It can be very easy to fall into the trap of thinking that other people have better lives than you because of social media these days.
However, you only ever see what they want you to see. And you have to understand that other people have their fair share of problems as well. You need to understand that you are your own person with your own quirks and with your own offerings in this life. You have your weaknesses, that’s true. But you also have your strengths. You constantly need to be reassuring yourself of the value that you bring into the lives of others. Stop buying into the idea of you being inferior. Reaffirm your belief in yourself.
2. Stop comparing yourself to other people.
We are all our own people. We all have our personal share of strengths and weaknesses. We all bring something fresh and unique to the table because of our distinct traits and personalities. You have to make sure that you aren’t so cynical to the point that you think you don’t have just as much to offer the world as other people do. Don’t by into the whole idea that other people have more valuable lives than you based on arbitrary standards that are just plainly unfounded and ridiculous. You should never be made to feel like you aren’t enough. You deserve to exist in this world just as much as anyone else. You have to have the confidence to recognize your own individual beauty and you need to celebrate that about yourself. You have to do the things that make you happy. You need to pursue the things that add meaning and fulfillment to your life. You should always feel justified in pursuing your passions.
3. Learn to be happy for other people.
You don’t always have to be jealous of the good things that are going on in the lives of other people. You have to be able to adjust your mindset. Be happy for them. Try to adopt the kind of thinking that allows you to believe that we are all in this together. The success and happiness of one person is the success and happiness of all. Life is too wonderful. You can’t afford to be wasting yours by always staying jealous.
