Shakira may have found love again.
The 46-year-old Colombian singer is expected to leave Barcelona within a few days with her two boys.
It has been reported that Shakira will move to Miami with her sons, Mila, 10, and Sasha, 8, after signing a child custody agreement with her ex-partner, Gerard Pique.
The former couple announced their separation in June last year after a relationship of eleven years and two children later.
The announcement came on June 4, 2022, when Shakira’s publicist made a statement on her behalf.
“We regret to confirm that we are parting ways. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”
The announcement was made when rumors about the 35-year-old footballer were circulating that he was cheating on the Queen of Latin music.
The Hips Don’t Lie singer allegedly found out that Pique was cheating on her when she returned home to an eaten jar of strawberry jam.
Now, a Spanish website, OK Diario claimed that the Queen of Latin Music has another reason to ‘accelerate’ her move to Miami – a mystery man.
Reports claim that Shakira met her new love interest before she penned her latest ‘diss song’ targeting the Barcelona footballer and her new girlfriend, Clara Chia.
“It seems the Colombian singer could have found a new illusion in the shape of a mysterious man she apparently met in Miami and has been in contact with for four months.”
“It offered no more details, other than to say that the mystery man was not former flame Antonio de la Rua, who she dated before meeting Pique at the 2010 World Cup where Shakira performed her hit song ‘Waka Waka’” per Daily Mail.
A representative for Shakira has denied the claims.
Last month, the Chantaje singer hit out at Pique’s new girlfriend in an interview and said,
“There is a place in hell reserved for women who don’t support other women.”
Adding that she has gained more confidence after her breakup and doesn’t need a man to complete her, Shakira, 46, said,
“I bought that story, that a woman needed a man to complete herself. I also had that dream of a family where the children had a mum and dad under the same roof.”
“You don’t achieve all your dreams in life but life has a way of compensating you and I think life has certainly done it with me with the marvelous two children I have who fill me with love every day,” she told journalist Enrique Acevedo.
“I’ve always been emotionally quite dependant on men, I’ve fallen in love with love, and I think I’ve been able to understand that story from another perspective and today I am sufficient on my own.”
