Looks like they never broke up!
Camila Cabello and ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes have reportedly rekindled their romance as the duo was spotted sharing a steamy kiss at Coachella on Friday, April 14.
According to Us Weekly, “The pair arrived at the Indio, California, festival grounds moments apart just before 6 p.m.”
“They were flanked by bodyguards and had a big group around them. They weren’t holding hands, but stayed together all night,” a source revealed to the outlet. “They were in a VIP table, trying to stay out of sight.”
Later in the night, the pair was seen packing on the PDA as “Mendes, 24, had his arm around her waist as they walked to the stage,” the source said. “The PDA continued as the Nigerian rapper played his hit ‘Last Last.’”
“Camila was nuzzling her face into Shawn’s shoulders and they looked like a couple. They also kissed and were making out during Burna Boy’s final song,” the eyewitness added.
The romantic reunion comes a year and half after the couple announced their breakup in a joint public statement.
“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for another as humans is stronger than ever,” the singers announced in November 2021.
“We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward. Camila and Shawn.”
The split announcement surprised fans as they were spotted making out in Miami earlier that month.
Camila and Shawn officially started dating in July 2019 after they were seen holding hands on multiple occasions during the same month.
“In early July, they were seen holding hands in L.A, another time holding hands on the Fourth of July and a third time passionately kissing on a beach in Cabello’s native Miami,” per People.
As soon as the new video of their latest ‘steamy Coachella kiss’ became viral on the internet, fans shared their views on the reunion.
“As much hate they’re getting, I love it and them and they look happy,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“just because they kissed doesn’t mean they are back together,” a second said.
“if this is what brings me Romance 2.0, then it’s a win for me,” a third commented.
