It seems like Taylor Swift has already moved on.
F1 star Fernando Alonso has poked fun at rumors about him dating the pop icon.
In a new TikTok video, Alonso, 41, could be seen scrolling on his phone before he looked up and winked at the camera.
“Race week era,” he captioned the clip with Swift’s Karma playing in the background.
The clip has been viewed by nearly 3 million people on the video-sharing platform, and fans are going wild in the comment section.
“Ohhhh Fernando knows ALL TOO WELL what he’s doing,” one wrote.
“fernando really said chaos,” a second said.
“THEY KNOW WE KNOW,” a third added.
“YOU DID THIS ON PURPOSE, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING ALONSO,” a fourth commented.
“OH MY GOD TAYLOR X FERNANDO CONFIRMED????” asked another fan.
“THE TAYLOR SWIFT RUMOURS MIGHT BE TRUE,” someone wrote.
“Trying to not scream and kick my feet’s in excitement during my lunchbreak around my colleagues,” said someone else.
According to Daily Mail, “The 41-year-old Spaniard – who named Michael Schumacher as his greatest F1 rival earlier this month – was first romantically tied to Swift in an Instagram post on the DeuxMoi Instagram account last week, which quoted an anonymous email reading: ‘A couple of Spanish magazines have been posting about TS [Swift] and Spanish F1 driver Fernando Alonso.”
“According to them, the couple has been seeing each other for a week now. Nothing serious tho since they are both recently single.”
The news comes almost three weeks after the Love Story singer, 33, ended her six-year-long relationship with actor Joe Alwyn, 32.
On Saturday, April 8, Entertainment Tonight broke the news of their split and said it was conflict-free and involved no drama.
“The relationship had just run its course. It’s why [Alwyn] hasn’t been spotted at any shows,” a source revealed to the outlet.
The news comes while the Enchanted singer is on the go for her sold-out Eras tour.
“Alwyn has not been spotted at any shows, although reports claimed just weeks ago the two stars were still going strong,” Insider wrote.
“Joe will travel with her when he can,” a source close to the couple told People in March. “They are great together. Joe is super supportive of her career.”
The duo was first linked together in May 2017 when it was reported that they had been dating quietly for months.
“Though it’s not clear exactly when they met, fans have speculated that Swift and Alwyn first crossed paths at the 2016 Met Gala,” per PEOPLE.
A source told Us Weekly at the time, “They just work out, watch movies together and invite friends over. Taylor loves to cook and bake for him.”
Throughout the years, the Grammy-winning singer and the British actor kept their relationship as private as possible.
“I’ve learned that if I do, people think it’s up for discussion, and our relationship isn’t up for discussion,” Swift told The Guardian in 2019.
In March 2020, another anonymous source close to the couple revealed that they had been discussing their future and marriage.
“[They] have talked about their future and marriage. They don’t have a set deadline in place, but they’re very much in love. … [Joe] has always been a huge support and stuck by her.”
Over the years, Taylor and Joe also collaborated on music, leading to a Grammy win for Taylor in 2020.
“The pair also began collaborating on music together over the pandemic, culminating in a Grammy Awards win. 2020 sister albums Folklore and Evermore each included collaborations with Alwyn, who wrote several songs under the pseudonym William Bowery,” PEOPLE reported.
“Folklore ended up taking home the 2021 Grammy for album of the year and Evermore was nominated for the same award at the 2022 ceremony.”
During her acceptance speech, the Love Story singer gave a shout-out to her then-boyfriend and said,
“Joe is the first person that I play every single song that I write, and I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine.”
