TikTok influencer has revealed how she “accidentally” bought a couch for $100,000 (£89K), which she was bidding on as a joke.
In a TikTok video earlier this month, Quenlin Blackwell, who has almost 8 million followers, sobs in her car.
Despite entering her credit card information, the 21-year-old says she was not serious about buying the sofa.
She panicked after being charged for the rather expensive sitting spot.
“I have to pull over right now because I’m about to f**king throw up,” According to the clip with 700,000 views, she said.
“I just put an offer on a couch, and I was joking. I was joking, but I put in my card information, and it just charged my f**king account. I almost crashed my car when I saw it.”
She then appealed to her followers to donate to the sofa.
“If you have a million dollars, can you please donate? Can you please donate, please? If you have a million dollars, can you let me borrow some, please,” her tears flowed.
There is a caption on the video that reads, “I can’t inhale.” Watch it here!
Commenters were curious why Blackwell entered her card details if she didn’t intend to buy the piece.
A person asked: “How you joke with yo card info?” Another said: “Girl, who puts in card info as a JOKE.”
Several people were interested in seeing the hundred-grand couch.
one person commented on her video: “ILY BUT WHY PUT YOUR INFO IN.”
A tiktok user commented on her video: “ILY BUT WHY PUT YOUR INFO IN.”
one person asked: “How do you accidentally put all of your card info in and press purchase?”
Following up with a video, Blackwell revealed she was reluctantly joining OnlyFans to make money to pay her bills.
“I don’t want to, but I’m going to have to,” Blackwell said, explaining that she also needed money for dental work and a car side mirror.
“I don’t want to do a job. I’m about to throw up because I know they didn’t refund me.”
Some doubted that the video was real or if it was just Blackwell’s way of bringing people to Subscribe to OnlyFans.
Similarly, the TikTokker’s claim that she lived with Diplo sparked a social media storm.
A statement from the music producer was eventually released: “OK so I rent one of my properties to Quenlin.
He added: “Her social media is sarcastic and chaotic and I can see you can get a twisted idea but there is nothing but a friendship between us.”
