It has been reported that the Vampire Diaries alum Paul Wesley has parted ways from his wife of three years, Ines de Ramon.
Paweł Tomasz Wasilewski, professionally known as Paul Wesley, is an American actor, director, and producer. He is popular for his role as Stefan Salvatore in the supernatural drama series The Vampire Diaries and as James T. Kirk in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
His other notable projects include Fallen, Roll Bounce, Young Arthur, Beneath the Blue, The Late Bloomers, and The Baytown Outlaws.
According to Us Weekly, one of the actor’s representatives confirmed the news on Monday, September 19, and stated,
“The decision to separate is mutual and occurred five months ago. They request privacy at this time.”
Wesley started dating de Ramon in 2018, nearly five years after his split from first wife Torry Devitto – the couple tied the knot in 2011, and just after two years, they got separated.
In 2018, the Vampire actor shared a photo on his Instagram that included Ines and fans speculated she was his new love interest.
“The Vampire Diaries alum, 40, was first romantically linked to Ramon, 32, a jewelry professional, in June 2018 when they were seen holding hands after a dinner date in New York City,” PEOPLE reported.
“Less the one year later, the couple started wearing wedding bands,” per Us Weekly.
Page Six states, “De Ramon — who has since gone private on social media — gave fans a glimpse into the former couple’s special day on their anniversary when she posted photos from the big day on Instagram.”
“In the photos, de Ramon stunned in a feathered white wedding dress while Wesley pulled her in for a kiss on the beach.”
In June 2019, his former co-star Nina Dobrev confirmed that the pair had tied the knot and they were very much in love with each other.
“We hang out a lot. We’re really good friends. I love his wife. It’s so funny how time changes everything because I never thought he would be one of my best friends.”
The ex-couple also went on double dates with Nina and her boyfriend, Shaun White.
In 2020, the 40-year-old American actor spoke to PEOPLE for the 2020 Sexiest Man Alive issue and shared that he had a good time with his partner Ines during the Covid-19 pandemic when the entire world was observing back-to-back lockdowns and everything else was just shut down.
“I’m in a fortunate position where I was able to take a break, and it was so important for me to do it. For me, I reset. I recalibrated. Kind of realized what was important to me reprioritized my life.”
According to PEOPLE magazine, the couple separated five months ago but didn’t announce their split on social media as they are both very private people.
However, last month, fans spotted Paul Wesley holding hands with model Natalie Kuchenburg in public – without his wedding ring!
