Infidelity. It’s one of the biggest killers of most relationships these days. A simple act of infidelity can quickly kill and destroy all of the mutual trust and respect that is built in a relationship over a long period of time. So it’s probably better for you to never entangle yourself in cases of infidelity. It doesn’t matter whether you’re the one who’s cheating, you’re the one who is being cheated with, or you’re the one who is being cheated on; these situations rarely ever end well. You should always make it a point to respect the integrity of a relationship by never willingly allowing yourself to participate in cases of infidelity.
Things can get particularly complicated whenever marriage is thrown into the equation. There are plenty of reasons why getting involved with a married man is always a bad idea and you really have to take them seriously. No matter how strong your feelings may be for a married man, you have to be able to respect that marriage. You have to resist the urge to engage in dishonest and distasteful acts. To help convince you further, here are a few reasons as to why you should never get entangled with a married man.
1. He is never going to be able to commit to you.
A lot of relationships are always going to be about commitment. You can’t possibly have a long-term relationship with someone who isn’t going to be able to commit to you and that’s the case with a married man. Most of his commitments are always going to lie with his family, and not with you.
2. You are never going to get the full picture.
He is never going to give you the full glimpse into his life that you need to be able to trust him fully. He is never going to be able to let you all the way in because the most intimate parts of his life are already occupied by his wife (and his kids if he has them).
3. People are going to judge you for it.
People are never going to be a fan of guys who cheat. But that doesn’t mean they won’t be paying attention to the girl he’s cheating with either. The people who know about what you’re doing aren’t going to be too fond of your behavior. It just doesn’t look good.
4. You are always going to have to be the secret.
He is never going to bring you out into the open for grand dates. He is never going to post pictures with you on his social media. He is never going to advertise the relationship that you have together because you are never going to stop being a secret.
5. You are the one who is going to be alone at the end of the day.
At the end of the day, after you’re done fooling around with one another, he’s going to go home to his family. He’s going to go home to see his wife. And you will have no one to go home to. You won’t be able to spend the night with him. You won’t get that kind of security from him.
You are never going to get to experience the feeling of playing house with him. You won’t ever get the opportunity of waking up next to him on a lazy Sunday morning because he’s probably going to be home with his wife. He is never going to be a permanent fixture in your life.
7. You can never be sure of his loyalty.
If he can cheat on his wife, what makes you think that he isn’t going to cheat on you? A man who isn’t loyal to his wife is unlikely to ever be loyal to you as well. You can never really be sure of his loyalty because he is an untrustworthy person to begin with.
8. He will force you to lie to yourself about the state of your relationship.
You will tell yourself that you have something special even though you really don’t. You will try to lie to yourself about the chances of your relationship’s survival even though the chances are very slim and you know it.
9. He isn’t going to keep his promises to you.
He is going to tell you that he hates his wife and that he hates his life. He’s going to tell you that he’s going to leave his wife eventually and that you are going to be happy together in the future. But unfortunately, if he hasn’t left his wife by now, he’s probably not going to leave her at all.
10. You deserve to have someone all to yourself.
Don’t allow yourself to be a more option to a man. You deserve to be his everything. Don’t settle for being the third-party. Be the only party in a man’s life. That’s the kind of love that you deserve.
