Ever had that feeling where you freak yourself out? Or that you’re way too different from anyone around in a weird way? Not that it’s a bad thing, but it’s indicative of the fact that yes, you do possess some personality traits and habits which not only makes you the odd one out of the crowd but it also hints to the fact that you’re somewhat of a psychopathin the most respectful sense, though.
Those traits and habits might make others’ stares and fingers pointed at you, but it can also mean some pretty cool things about yourself, such as the fact that your weird differences make you unique and hence more susceptible to do things in life which the world considers impossible. These traits and habits might just end up making the difficulties in life a trick to tackle for you, rather than things that bring you down.
As they say, in order to get something, you have to give something. Go figure.
Here are a couple of signs you have a psychopathic personality:
-
No real friends
You’ve never been in a long-term relationship; they just don’t seem to be your thing. Also, you’ve never been close to someone for more than a few months in order for them to be included in your friends’ list. People simply come and go. Your weird habits don’t give them reason to stick around for long.
-
Impulsiveness
Being somewhat moody, your emotions are always on the roll. Self-control doesn’t come easy to you either. If you feel up for getting exceptionally drink then you will – there’s no stopping you. To most people, that comes off as intimidating and they stay away.
-
Boredom comes easy to you
Most of life seems mediocre to you and therefore, a constant flow of adventure is required in your life. It’s like you have a high for adventure. If you don’t fulfil that craving to be up and about, you feel unsatisfied and hollow, like the negative of a person.
-
Manipulation
Perks of having a fast working mind: you know how to read people, you understand how their minds work and their motives behind their actions and words. It makes you people-smart, but it also gives you ample ground to be manipulative. You want something, you’ll figure out a way to trick them into giving it to you.
-
Guilt is a useless emotion to you
You resiliently believe that there’s no use crying over spilt milk. You do things and feel okay about them, simple as that. No remorse whatsoever. So even if you have fired someone, dump someone or bully someone and then you see them crying their eyes out, you won’t feel bad about it at all. After all, you did what you had to do, so why feel guilty over it?
-
Compulsive lying
You lie to get yourself out of a bad situation. You do it once, you do it twice. Then it becomes habitual. Sometimes, you might even lie just for the fun of it. At other times, you will lie to create a scene. Either way, it becomes compulsive to you and you seem to get away with it too.
-
A charmer
Being good at reading people coupled with your compulsive lying and elaborate methods to get away with it, charm comes naturally to you then. Even though you dislike the human race, you still manage to convince people you’re lovely when stuck in a difficult situation. You know what to say and when to say it to make people think nicely of you, if that means getting your way.
-
Taking advantage of others
As long as you get something out of the opportunity, you will use others in every sense of the wordwhether that’s for sex, free meals or for a place to stay the night. You want to make things easy for yourself and using others to do that doesn’t seem to be an issue for you.
-
High self-esteem
You’ve a big ego, which makes you think you’re the greatest personality on the planet; and that others can never rise up to your high standards. We all know ego is one hell of a drug. When you see it being a driving force to achieve more, it makes you want more of that drug.
-
Irresponsibility
Whether it’s meeting deadlines, showing up somewhere on time, making important decisions or some such other thing you don’t care enough about it to take proper responsibility for the task assigned to you.
-
Selfishness
It’s simple: you don’t care much about anyone other than yourself. Your ego makes you think as long as you get what you want, no one else matters. You’re the star in your own eyes. You’ll kill and cheat just to get on the top and achieving success.
-
Sadistic mentality
To embarrass you is a hard thing. You barely care enough to feel embarrassment. It’s the other way round: you like embarrassing other people. This also goes on to say that you like getting into fights and inflicting pain.
