What exactly can you do to win over a girl? Well, that’s a long laundry list and it can really vary depending on what kind of girl she is. It’s really complex having to figure out what you really have to do to turn a woman on. It all depends on the tastes and preferences of a girl.
However, it’s a lot easier to point out the things that you SHOULDN’T be doing – the things that really turn her off. All women may be unique individuals in their own right but they still speak the same language. Here are 12 common things guys do that are complete turnoffs for girls.
1. You call her by the wrong name.
There are very few things in the world that will get her out of the mood faster than by calling her by the wrong name. Why should you expect her to still want to be with you when your subconscious seems to be hung up on some other girl? She isn’t going to want anything to do with you if you call her by the wrong name while you’re making out or when you’re on a date. So make sure that you don’t do it.
2. You let your emotions get the best of you.
Keep your emotions in check. Always be reasonable and logical. Show her that you have the temperament to handle the pressures of being in a relationship.
3. You act too misogynistic (even when you don’t mean to be.)
We already live in a patriarchal society – and she doesn’t need you to be reminding her of it every single day. Always make sure that you don’t treat her as a lesser human being just because she’s a woman. Don’t act so entitled to your masculinity.
4. You fail to practice good hygiene.
Does this even really need to be explained? Why would anyone want to be with you if you’re just too much of a slob?
5. You act like a complete douchebag.
Kindness, class, and good manners are never going to go out of style. And if you act in an opposite manner, then you’re never going to find a quality girl for yourself. The quickest way to drive away a great girl is to act like a douchebag.
6. You still cling to childish and immature things.
Women like strong and burly men who are able to take care of them. They don’t like immature young boys who can’t seem to let go of the past. So, if you are still playing with your childhood toys and your video games all day long, don’t expect her to be turned on by you at all.
7. You don’t present yourself as a strong and independent man.
Again, women want to be with men who know how to take care of them. But how can she expect you to take care of her if you can’t even take care of yourself? You always need to present yourself as a guy who knows how to be independent. You need to be the kind of guy she can really depend on for strength and guidance whenever necessary.
8. You don’t have a structured and organized life.
This is all part of being a mature and responsible adult who is ready for a real relationship. You need to have structure and purpose to how you live your life. Otherwise, you’re just a dead fish floating along with the current. She isn’t going to be turned on by a guy who doesn’t know what to do with his life. Show her that you have a vision and that you have the determination needed to actualize that vision.
9. You act as if you don’t have experience.
She doesn’t want to have to spoon-feed you throughout the whole duration of the relationship.
10. You act as if you have too much experience.
But she also doesn’t want to be intimidated by the thought of being with a guy who has been around the block so many times.
11. You act controlling and manipulative.
Having a controlling and manipulative personality can spell absolute doom for a relationship. And if she is smart enough, she isn’t going to want to have anything to do with you the moment that you start to exhibit these toxic behavioral traits. You have to make sure that you never act toxic in any way towards her.
12. You don’t control your alcohol.
It’s okay if you want to take the edge off every once in a while. It’s okay to have a few nights every now and then where you just let loose and have fun with your friends. But if you’re the kind of guy who really doesn’t control your alcohol intake in general, then you can’t expect her to want to be with you. You might even have a problem and she might not want to be around for when that problem starts to consume your life.
