A man might not be the most communicative or open about his feelings when it comes to love or romance. But that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t fully grasp or understand the gravity of the situation that he is in.
Remember that guys get hurt in love the same way that women do. They’re just not going to be as vocal about it and that’s why these men don’t typically get a lot of attention.
However, it’s always going to be quite an emotional ride for them whenever they get to meet a woman who actually catches their attention. Whenever a man is smitten by the right girl, these are a few of the things that might be running through his mind.
1. I need to resist.
He’s going to want to stay guarded at first. He’s going to want to protect himself from the possible pain that might befall him as a result of falling in love with someone. He will try to resist all of her charms at first.
2. She gets prettier every time I see her.
But then, he’s going to realize just how helpless she is to the situation. He’s going to realize that he is absolutely smitten by her and he can do nothing to stop the effect that she has on him. She just seems to get prettier and prettier in his eyes.
3. I don’t care about the flaws, I still enjoy her company.
And after that, he’s going to see her for who she really is. He’s going to realize that she isn’t so perfect after all. And that’s going to be okay with him. He would still allow herself to fall for her in spite of her imperfections because of how much fun he has with her.
4. I feel like I can tell her anything.
He will start to grow more and more comfortable with her. He’s going to really become attached to her in ways that are more intimate than anyone else. He will feel more okay with being open and vulnerable towards this woman.
5. She is the only one I have my eye on.
And he will just fully commit to her. He knows that she has an effect on him in ways that no other woman has. And he isn’t going to want to keep his options open anymore. He knows that she’s the girl that he wants.
6. Could this really be love?
And even though he becomes more and more assured of his feelings every day, the doubts are still there. He can’t help but wonder if this is truly the real thing because of the many times that he has been deceived in the past.
7. This situation doesn’t scare me at all.
But in spite of all the doubts, anxieties, and insecurities. He refuses to be afraid. He knows that with a girl like her, only good things can come from him just opening himself up. He knows that she’s really the kind of girl he can depend on.
8. I wonder if I am good enough for her.
He will then look into his own life and think about the ways that he can be the best possible partner for her. He is going to want to make sure that he is always acting as his best self with her. He doesn’t want to make her feel like he isn’t going to be good enough for him.
9. I’m not going to play games with her.
He commits to the idea of never ever making fun of her. He isn’t going to want to play games with her at all. He is very serious about how he feels about her. And he would never want to do anything to make her feel like he isn’t being serious with her at all.
10. She really is one in a million.
He’s going to realize just how special this girl truly is. He’s going to come to learn that this is the girl that he has been waiting for all of his life. He will learn that she is the reason why he had to fail in so many relationships in the past.
11. I didn’t expect this would be the way it feels.
And he’s going to be shocked by the way true love is going to hit him. It will be both everything and nothing like how he expected true love to be. He’s going to be overwhelmed – but in a good way – at how love surprises him in that way.
12. This is what it means to find happiness in someone else.
And finally, he’s going to come to finally learn what it means to find happiness in another person. He’s going to know what it means to find true comfort, solace, relief, joy, and ultimate fulfillment in another human being… with her.
