4 Things To Do When You Feel Like Your Man Is Pulling Away From You

Do you feel like your guy is slowly pulling away from you and the relationship? Why is it that men are prone to pulling away in the first place? You have to understand that this happens a lot in relationships. It doesn’t matter how passionate and how intimate you were when you first got together. Like many things in life, it’s not really about how you start; it’s about how you are able to sustain what you started. And maybe, somewhere along the way, you started to lose your man. And now, you feel like he is slowly pulling away from you; he’s slipping away and you still want to do everything that you can to make sure that you don’t lose him entirely.

You just don’t want to let him go because you are still so heavily invested in this relationship. And that’s why you’ve somehow found your way to this article. You need some advice. You want to know what you can do to make things better; to make sure that you don’t end up losing the love that you so desperately want to keep. It doesn’t matter how good your intentions are or how genuine your love might be. Sometimes, two people can just grow apart as a result of natural circumstances. And there are many possibilities as to why your man might be pulling away from you.

All men are unique and different after all – and all relationships have unique experiences and narratives surrounding them. It would be difficult to generalize as to why men pull away from their women and their relationships. But regardless of what is triggering this unfortunate circumstance, you still find yourself feeling hurt. You don’t want to lose your guy; but it seems like he’s losing interest in you and your relationship. You are starting to grow anxious and you don’t exactly know what to do. You feel like you need some guidance and direction to help steer your relationship back on track. And that’s exactly what this article is for.

It’s okay for you to be feeling lost in your relationship when your man is pulling away from you. This is directly outside of your comfort zone; and it might be something you have never had to deal with before. But you don’t have to panic just yet. Just because you feel him pulling away ever so slightly doesn’t automatically mean that he’s going to break up with you. There’s no reason for you to be jumping to conclusions when you don’t have all the information yet.

You should only ever really worry about your relationship when there’s really something to worry about. And you shouldn’t be worried just yet. To help put your mind at ease; and to possibly help remedy this situation, here are a few things that you could think about doing:

1. Just let him be and give him some space for a while.

All men are going to want to maintain their individuality even when they’re in a relationship – and you’re going to have to respect that. Maybe he just wants to hold on to his sense of self. Maybe he feels like he just needs to block out certain distractions for a while. Maybe he needs to do some soul-searching. Whatever the case, he might just want space. Give him that space and trust that he’s going to find his way back to you in the end.

2. Don’t try to change who you are.

A lot of women will succumb to thinking that they need to change their ways to win their men back. But that isn’t always true. You might be doing more harm than good. Continue to be the girl he fell in love with in the first place. Stay true to who you really are. If you act fake, then he’s going to be able to see right through you.

3. Stop assuming that everything is about you.

The reason that he is pulling away from you might not even have ANYTHING to do with you. Remember to keep things in perspective as much as possible. Just because he’s pulling away doesn’t mean that it’s a direct result of who you are or how you treat him. He might be dealing with other aspects of life that are forcing him to isolate himself for a while.

4. Carry on with your life as you normally would.

Carry on with your life as you typically would. The worst thing that you could do in a situation like that is to put your life on hold. Over time, the cards will slowly reveal themselves and the picture will become a lot clearer. You shouldn’t be disrupting your way of living just because you feel like your man needs to be alone for a while. Your life should still be your own priority.
