We all have our own personal intolerances as human beings. There are just some things in this world that some of us won’t want anything to do with. When people tell lies, it’s usually because they want to conceal the truth – which may be because the truth might place them in compromising positions. And when they are dishonest,
they blatantly disrespect those they are lying to – because they see themselves as people who don’t deserve the truth. As human beings, we are all deserving of the truth. It can be a huge blow to your ego and your person when you discover that you have just been deceived and lied to. You might even start to blame and question whether you might have done or said anything that may have caused people to want to lie to you. Or you might also be the kind of person who just shrugs it off because you don’t want to have anything to do with liars in the first place.
But the main point here is that you don’t like lying and will always want to deal with liars a certain way. You don’t want to be deceived or manipulated. You are your person with your mind and capable of independent thought. You shouldn’t have to put up with someone constantly lying to your face. You shouldn’t have to put up with someone who withholds the truth from you. Sure, they might have their reasons and excuses – and they might even force you to think it’s not a big deal. But you also know that if they can lie to you once, there’s no telling what else they will lie about.
