#2. You aren’t afraid of calling a person out when appropriate.
Strength is something that we all aspire for as human beings. There is merit in being strong as we live in a world that is unforgiving and cruel. We all try our best to be as strong as we possibly can, but there is no denying that we all have our weaknesses. Flaws and imperfections are inherent aspects of human existence. None of us are ever going to be able to achieve pure perfection, and we are left to deal with whatever we are given. A lot of us are strong, while there are a lot of us who are not. That’s just a natural part of life. Some people are going to have what other people don’t. That is why this world is so unforgiving, and that is why we must all play our parts properly in order for us to survive.
But one thing that most people have to realize is that just because a person is strong doesn’t mean that he or she is guaranteed an easy life. These strong people, despite their strengths and most likeable assets, have to deal with the struggles of life the same way as everyone else. They still go through their share of hardships, and they will also be victims of failure. People of strength can also be incredibly flawed people, and their strength can get them into very compromising situations a lot of the time. Plenty of people who are unaccustomed to such strong personalities tend to not be very receptive of strong individuals. They perceive strong personalities to be the same as being hostile, manipulative, coercive, and oppressive. That’s not necessarily the case. A person with a strong personality can be just as empathetic, endearing, caring, kind, and loving as any other person.
It’s a health mixture of brawns and inner beauty. People with strong personalities who also happen to have healthy doses of sensitivity and empathy within them tend to make for great people to be around. When you are around a strong person, you cannot just assume that they are immune to pain. Sometimes, even the strongest personalities are also going to be the most sensitive people you are ever going to meet. Here are a few signs that a person has an incredibly strong personality, but is also unforgivingly sensitive.
1. You can get overwhelmed by the complexity of life and the world.
Even though a lot of people perceive you as someone with immense strength and volition, the vast complexity of the world can still overwhelm you at times. You still have your days where you feel like you’re carrying the weight of a thousand islands on your shoulders, and there’s nothing you can do to relieve yourself of that burden. Just because you are strong doesn’t mean that life is going to be easy. You still know that life is going to be harsh and difficult, but you choose to persist anyway because you are driven and motivated to do so. You won’t always have the answers, but you will always have the willingness to learn and the zeal for success.
2. You aren’t afraid of calling a person out when appropriate.
You are a very principled person, and you are uncompromising in your principles. Whenever you happen to witness someone who is blatantly violating your principles, you will never be afraid to call them out on what they’re doing. However, you are also sensitive enough to properly discern when such moments are called for. You know when to just let things go, and you also know when you have to step up and exclaim your piece. You are a wise character who understands the roles that human emotions can play in social interactions.– Continue reading on the next page
3. You have very high standards when it comes to dating.
You are interested in relationships and romance, but you aren’t desperate. You have very high standards for the people you choose to date and because of that, it can be very difficult for you to find love. You don’t choose to just get into a relationship with anyone. You want something that you think has potential for greater things, and you don’t want to waste your time with meaningless flings. You are always looking ahead, and the pressures of getting into an immediate relationship never get to you. You are the kind of person who understands that time only comes when it chooses to come.
4. You are intolerant of mediocrity and injustice.
You demand so much from other people because you also hold yourself to the same standards. You have no problem cutting people off if you know that they don’t add value to your life. You hate it when other people just live their lives without a care. You abhor the fact that some people are just leeches who are living off the hard work of other innocent people. You only allocate time and space for the people who actually bring light into the world. Anyone else is irrelevant in your eyes.
5. You are a great conversationalist.
You are smart, intelligent, eloquent, and witty. You have lots of profound insights about many complex topics, and people just love listening to you talk. But one of your greatest assets that often gets overlooked is the fact that you are a great listener. You always respond to people well because you actually pay attention to what they are saying when they are talking to you.
