Don’t be shy, make the first move!
Stop believing in the notion that you just have to sit still and pretty while waiting for a guy to come along and sweep you off of your feet. Just because you’re a woman doesn’t mean that you should take a passive approach to finding love. It’s the 21st century and the emerging trend is that more and more women are actually taking all aspects of life into their own hands even love. So if you find that you’re attracted to a guy, go ahead and pursue him. You don’t have to sit and wait for him to be interested in you. You never know what kind of opportunities you’re going to end up missing out on if you don’t actively pursue the people you’re interested in being with. You must also take into consideration that not all men are going to be confident and straightforward in their approach to love either. There are a lot of shy boys out there who are too scared to make the first move and sometimes, you have to be the one who initiates the courtship.
While it can seem non-traditional for women to be the ones to make the first move, you shouldn’t have to fret. If you want something, there’s nothing wrong with you going out and getting it for yourself. It shows that you are independent and people will only hate if they are insecure about their own strength and confidence in themselves. Sometimes, the situation is going to have to call on you to be the one who steps up to get a relationship started. But how do you know for sure? It can be tempting to just sit and wait for the guy to make the first move. There’s a certain pride factor there of course. IT feels good whenever you’re the one who is approached. It makes you feel wanted and important. But again, not all guys are going to be so forward about their intentions. And when that happens, you’re going to be the one who needs to get the ball rolling.
To help you boost your confidence, there are some signs that a guy might be into you but is merely too shy to act on his feelings. Be vigilant and keep an eye out for these signs and you’ll know for sure that the time is ripe for you to make your move.
1. He is constantly checking in on you and bringing up random topics just to get a conversation rolling.
He wants any excuse to talk to you and so he will randomly text you to check up on you. And that’s not enough, he randomly brings up an inside joke or an intimate reference that only the two of you share and he would use that as a starting point for a conversation. This is a blatant sign that he is really into you because if he weren’t, he wouldn’t care about checking up on you at all.
2. He goes out of his way to start a conversation with you.
Another blatant indication of his attraction towards you is the fact that he really likes talking to you. He finds comfort in his conversations with you because he feels like you really click well. And by always engaging in conversations with you, he is hoping that you eventually develop a comfort with him as well so that you might actually form an emotional connection with one another.
3. He genuinely carves time out of his schedule just so he can hang out with you.
Time is a very big deal in any person’s life. Of course, no one would ever waste their time on anything that they wouldn’t consider to be important to them. So if he is really carving some precious time out of his schedule just so he can hang out with you, then that must mean that your attention and companionship are very important things to him.
He knows that one of the ways to your heart is through your friends. He understands that your friends are important to you and you would always heed their advice when it comes to matters of the heart. So he wants to build a good rep with them by getting close to them and by showing them that he would make a great partner for you.
5. He always makes you feel like you can count on him to be there for you whenever you need him.
And lastly, if he can make you feel like you can always rely on him whenever you need him, then that is a clear sign that he’s very much into you. He wants you to be able to depend on him whenever you feel like life is getting a little too difficult for you to handle alone.
