What are you willing to do for someone you love?
The wonders of love continue to bewilder and enchant us human beings throughout the course of our loves. We continue to search for love every day. Love continues to hurt us whenever we don’t treat it right. Love can be the most beautiful thing and also the scariest thing in the world. Love is what brings us together, and it’s incredibly painful whenever love is broken apart. Love is very complicated and there is just no general handbook on how to manage it. There are no specific steps that people can follow to find and choose the people they will love for the rest of their lives. That’s why a lot of people end up lost while a lot of other people just end up lucky. Some say that love is written in fate and destiny while others say love is always something you have to earn. Who knows the truth? In any case, there is no denying the impact that love can have on our lives.
Love has the power to completely alter the way in which people see the world. Love has the power to influence peoples’ actions and habits. When you fall in love with someone, you find your thoughts being completely consumed by the idea of that person. It’s almost like an obsession really. Love manifests itself through all of your grand gestures and your little deeds. Love is found in both your words and actions. Love can be found in places that you would never expect to find it. When you are really in love with someone, then you love regardless of whether it’s convenient or not. You love whether it’s popular or not. If you really were in love with someone, then you have the kind of love that is permanent; one that would never run away in times of difficulty or hardship.
To further demonstrate the proof of your love, there are some very specific things that you do that you can use as a reference point. These are the things that you would rarely ever do for people you’re not in love with. These are the things that drive you crazy; the things you hate doing, but you do them anyway because they’re all for the person who you love the most in this world.
Here are 5 examples of things you are willing to do for someone you love.
1. You are their personal Uber driver even during inconvenient moments.
Imagine that you are fast asleep at night alone in your bed. You know that your girl is out having a fun night of drinks with her closest lady friends. You don’t have to worry about her because you know she’s having fun. But then, just as you’re about to go into that deep and heavy sleep, you hear your phone buzzing. When you check your phone, it’s your girl telling you that you have to pick her up because she is really drunk and she can’t get back home by herself. What do you do? As inconvenient as it may be, you have to get out of bed and go to fetch your girl. You do this because you love her deeply and you want her to get home safely.
2. You play doctor by personally inspecting the grossest parts of their body.
Skin ailments are gross. That’s why you would never want to be flashing around that rash that you have on your backside to everyone you know. You want to keep something like that discreet and intimate ideally between you and a licensed physician. But with your partner, it’s no holds barred. You are free to see and inspect anything you like no matter how gross it is.
3. You willingly let yourself be the catcher of all their drool when you sleep.
Sleeping in the same bed can make for a very messy situation. First, the issue of bed real estate arises. Who gets the most space on the bed? Then, the snoring might be an issue as well. And of course, there is also the issue of drool in the bed. But really, none of these things matter when you’re sharing a bed with the person you’re deeply in love with.
4. You tell them that their selfies look good even though they look terrible.
Sometimes you’re going to have to withhold your honesty just to make the love of your life happy. These lies aren’t necessarily going to be detrimental to your relationship and so you don’t mind making them. You are in fact bound by the sacred rules of relationships to always tell the person you love that they are beautiful at all times.
5. You help them with their relocation or moving projects.
Lastly, moving day. Moving day is such a tedious and tiring experience. You hate the mundane tasks of having to pack and rearrange items in the house. But you help your love do with this task anyway just because you know that it would make them happy.
