You know that thing you do where you see your guy talk, see his lips moving and hear what he is saying but do not feel anything? And then at other times, you actually hear him, feel how much he means what he is saying and have it move the very marrow of your bones? You do not really love your guy in the first case, so you just hear. But you do care and love him in the second case, so you listen.
Almost everyone likes to hear some words of flattery. It is only when the listener is genuinely interested in the speaker that their words sink in. Guys tell women almost every flowery phrase of flattery mostly to get laid. And there is nothing wrong with that, except when his woman neither cares nor is looking for such a thing. It is important, therefore, to want someone and have them want you for the same reason.
Men whispering words of sweet emotion in women’s ears will not get them anywhere if women do not even care to begin with. Their minds must be interested, hearts beating with love’s rhythm, eyes thirsty for sincerity, and not just for a one-night stand.
Some things coming from one person could mean as empty as a ghost whereas those same words, coming from someone we care about a lot can make us feel so much, it even surprises us.
Here, we sum up some commonly heard things men say to women that can be used either to get into their pants or live up to their true meanings.
1. “I love you”
There are too many mediocre things in the world today. Love shouldn’t be one of them. Sadly, around 90% of the time, when men say I love you to a woman, they mean it as blankly as saying hello. Women won’t buy your love card at all if they themselves aren’t interested in you.
2. “You’re Beautiful”
Women don’t dress up perfectly and make their hair all nice just so men could complement their beauty. They already know it. But when a woman is interested in you, likes you, values your compliments than these two words from her guy will mean everything to her.
These words only live up to their pure meaning to a woman when the right guy says them. Otherwise, even a ‘hello’ is a good enough conversation starter.
3. “I Miss You”
These words mean very little when you tell your woman you miss her just so she can stop everything she’s doing and get your pleasures fulfilled. She’ll let you know she misses you too when she loves and cares about you. We only want to hear someone tell us they miss us so that we’ll not feel crazy for missing them, that it’s okay. It’s unmoving to women when they don’t miss you in return.
4. “I Can’t-Wait to See You”
It sounds really exciting coming from someone you’re excited to see as well. But if don’t care then it means nothing. Telling your woman you’re excited to see her won’t just magically make her jump out of her skin to see you too. No, it’s never that simple, is it? She has to be deeply interested in you, which would, in turn, make her actually care if you come to spend some quality time with her.
5. “You Make My Day”
Tired from work, paranoid at people and just not feeling yourself in the element, you want to get laid so you call her, tell her how amazing she is, her smiles make your heart flutter and then expect her to give you the love and affection you’re craving in the heat of the moment.
Well, it just doesn’t work like that. Telling your woman how she makes your day go by and makes your life worth living will sound dumb to her if you’re not the right guy for her. In order for her to really make your day, she’d have to care. And you can’t make her if she doesn’t buy the playful card of flattery.
6. “You’re the Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me”
It’s a pretty common phrase these days among men and women, isn’t it? Every action we undertake has some effect on the other person. So we might as well let them know that in the sincerest of terms.
If you tell your woman that she’s the best thing that happened to you, she won’t feel anything unless she loves you and cares about you, all the while knowing deep down that she has indeed had a major influence on your life in a positive way. Otherwise, they are nothing but empty words that will take wings and fly away if they aren’t coming from the right person.
