It’s a sad truth that not all people you meet in life are going to be genuine. There are lots of mischievous people out there in the world who are only looking to protect their own personal interests. They aren’t afraid of stepping on other peoples’ toes so as long as they get what they want.
They have no regard for whatever pain they are causing other people as a result of their insensitive actions. These are the manipulative and abusive kinds of woman who always have ulterior motives in everything that they do.
Sometimes, these kinds of women will resort to fooling men into believing that they actually have an emotional connection with each other. These women will play the girlfriend part really well to the point where she will take full advantage of the man’s trust for her. This is the point wherein men have to decide whether they’re willing to let themselves be played or if they’re going to put their foot down for the sake of their dignity.
No one ever likes being taken advantage of. That’s why if you manage to find yourself in a relationship where you are being manipulated and taken advantage of, get out as soon as you can. Don’t let this girl leech any more life out of you for her benefit. You deserve to be in a loving relationship with a person who wouldn’t manipulate you or use you as some sort of object.
Here are a few signs that you are just caught in a relationship with someone who is using you:
1. She doesn’t like to show you off as her boyfriend in public.
If she’s ashamed of showing you off in public as her boyfriend, then it is highly likely that her feelings for you aren’t as genuine as you’ve been led to believe. A girl who loves her boyfriend with all her heart would never want to hide him from the public for no reason at all. If she’s hiding you from her friends and family, then that should serve as blatant red flag for you that things aren’t exactly as they seem.
2. She only tells you that she loves you when she asks you for something.
You rarely ever hear her tell you that she loves you. And on the rare occasions where she actually acts like she’s in love with you is when she’s asking you for something. It could be a favor or a material object that she wants. Regardless, a woman who is genuinely in love with you would not miss any opportunity to express her love for you. That’s why you should be suspicious of girls who only tell you they love you when they ask you for something.
3. She doesn’t give a damn about your feelings and emotions.
She acts impulsively and on her own accord. She has no regard for how her actions will make you feel. She will do everything in her power to only please herself even if it means that you get hurt in the process. She is incredibly selfish and insensitive.
A girl who truly loved you would always be gracious and cautious with how she carries herself. She would always be sensitive of your feelings and she would never do anything to hurt you. If she doesn’t seem to care about you as a person, then her feelings for you might not be as real as you think.
4. She uses you as her personal piggy bank.
It’s like you’re her personal ATM machine. Whenever she wants a luxurious item at the mall, she automatically goes to you. She never wants to shell out her own money to buy that expensive bag and so she’ll decide to use your money instead. Another sign that she’s only using you is if she never reciprocates your generosity by buying you some gifts once in a while also.
5. She never asks you about your life.
If a woman genuinely loved you, then she would always make it a point to express interest in your life. She would ask you about your passions; your hopes and dreams; your goals and aspirations. She would ask you about your personal tastes and she would also make an effort to see things from your perspective. However, if you feel like that she couldn’t care less about your life, then it is highly likely that she doesn’t love you at all.
6. She rarely ever talks to you.
Communication is one of the most important aspects of any relationship. That’s why you should find it incredibly suspicious if a girl doesn’t like to engage in communication with you on a consistent basis. A girl who is genuinely in love with you will always want to talk to you.
7. She always manages to make it about her.
She’s conceited. She wants everything to be about her. She never wants to share the limelight with you because you really don’t matter to her. She’s only using you as a stepping stone. She doesn’t care about acknowledging you for your worth because she is too busy looking out for her own personal interests.
