You are always feeling tired; as if you don’t have much incentive to go about your day. You just want to rest all of the time because your feelings are really draining you.

Another sign of depression is when you have unhealthy sleeping patterns. It’s either you have difficulty sleeping at night or you just spend all day in your bed snoozing away.
3. You feel a sense of hopelessness about your situation.
You feel like you are lost in life and you can’t get out of the hole that you’re in. You’re sad about where you’ve been. You’re not happy about where you are. And you’re scared of where you’re going.
4. You get irritated all too easily.
You are dealing with so much negativity inside of you that you’re going to end up lashing out a lot. You are going to want to release your pain through anger.
5. You have unhealthy eating habits.
Just like having unhealthy sleeping patterns, having unhealthy sleeping habits is also a sign of depression. It’s either you’re not eating enough to the point of malnutrition; or you’re eating too much to the point of obesity.
6. You lose interest in the things that usually most excite you.
You no longer have a love or a passion for the things that used to really excite you; the things that you used to be enthused by.
7. You have thoughts of suicide and ending your own life.
Dark thoughts that drift to ideas of suicide are also great signs of depression.
8. You feel a sense of emptiness within you.
You feel like you are always lacking something in life; as if your life is never complete. You struggle to find meaning in the life that you’re leaving and you always feel like you’re plainly empty.
