1. Promote your mental and physical well-being.

Before you can become ready to take on the emotional and physical woes of another human being, you have to remember to make sure that you are in prime state yourself. Try on initiating a healthy lifestyle for yourself before you reemerge into the dating pool. Hit the gym and go on a healthy diet to promote overall physical wellness. The endorphins from working out can do wonders for your perspective and outlook on life too. Also take some time to immerse yourself in culture. Visit the museum, read some books, watch good films. Feed your soul.

2. Make the most out of your individual freedom.

When you are in a relationship, you are essentially sharing your life with another person; and that somewhat means giving up a substantial part of your individuality.
