Battle between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie over French Vineyard Escalates

Brad Pitt has claimed that ‘vindictive’ Angelina Jolie secretly sold off her half of their shared French Vineyard to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler to get back at him amid their bitter custody battle.

According to legal documents obtained by Page Six, “the Bullet Train star claims that he and Jolie agreed they would never sell their share in the $30 million property — which they bought in 2008 — without the other’s approval.”

However, the Fight Club actor says he has learned that Jolie has sold off her share to a Russian oligarch from a 2021 press release.

“That was by design: Jolie collaborated in secret with Shefler and his associates to pursue and then consummate the purported sale, ensuring that Pitt would be kept in the dark,” said the amendment complaint filed by Brad’s attorney in Los Angeles court.

“Shefler’s Stoli company and Jolie knowingly violated Pitt’s and [his company] Mondo Bongo’s contractual rights and forced a stranger into Pitt’s family home,” the amendment read.

The ex-couple agreed to never sell their shared $160 million Chateau Miraval business without their other’s permission. However, the Salt actress has apparently violated their agreement.

After their split, Angelina agreed to divide the property up 68 to 38 percent, with Brad taking the most half as he had invested more ‘money and time’ into the project. But in 2021, the Fight Club star found that his ex-wife had sold off 50% of the stake without his permission.

According to Pitt, Jolie secretly plotted with Yuri Shefler, the owner of the Stoli group, and wanted to keep him in the dark.

The court filing also claims that the Eternals star didn’t sell it to Pitt because of their bitter legal battle over the custody of their six children.

“Her decision to terminate negotiations with Pitt was intentional and pretextual,” the court document states. “As will be demonstrated at trial, Jolie’s actions were unlawful, severely and intentionally damaging Pitt and unjustly enriching herself.”

“Stoli and Jolie have sought to force Pitt into a partnership with a stranger, and worse yet, a stranger with poisonous associations and intentions,” he alleges.

Angelina’s attorneys have denied Pitt’s claims and said they are “frivolous, malicious, and part of a problematic pattern.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt started dating back in 2004 when Brad Pitt was still married to Jennifer Anniston. The scandalous couple dated for almost ten years before officially tying the knot in 2014. However, despite having a decade-long relationship with SIX children, their marriage was unsuccessful.

So, in 2016, Jolie applied for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, and requested custody of her six children without demanding child support.

Angelina Jolie Pitt has filed for dissolution of the marriage. This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting at this time, and asks that the family be given their privacy during this difficult time,” her attorney told PEOPLE magazine at the time.

Meanwhile, Pitt said in his statement to the publication, “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”
