Donna Jeanette D’Errico, popularly known as Donna D’Errico, is an American actress and model. She posed for Playboy as its Playmate of the Month for September 1995 and had a starring role in the renowned television series Baywatch.
Her notable projects include Escape from Area 51, Frank and Penelope, Intervention, Survive the Game, Only God Can, and Holding the Baby.
The 54-year-old model and actress celebrated US Independence Day on the fourth of July this year by posting an Instagram video in which she flaunted her American flag-printed two-piece.
The actress wrote, “Happy 4th of July, everyone! us.”
While many complimented her fitness, a few people trolled her for wearing a bathing suit.
“Arent, you old to pull off a swimsuit?” a user wrote.
“Whoa, man, cover up; you’re almost 50. What is this behavior?!” Another commented.
“She is too old to wear a bikini. Not a Playboy model in her 20s anymore.” Wrote another.
In response, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine actress posted a photo of herself on her account wearing a pink string bikini and wrote a caption,
“Quite a few women complained about the 4th of July video I posted in a red, white & blue bikini because they thought I was ‘classier than that’ and ‘too old to wear a bikini’ and, my favorite, ‘desperate,’”
“Let me tell you something that might surprise you. I can actually wear and do literally whatever I want. On that note, here is me in a bikini squatting on a coffee table.”
The Playboy model continued in a comment under her post and further wrote,
“For all those asking, no I didn’t remove the red white & blue 4th of July video. It’s still up under the ‘reels’ tab on my page.”
People wrote that this is not the first time D’Errico has shared a photo like this; the actress often shares photos of herself wearing swimsuits.
However, she admitted that at times she struggles with her confidence because people keep judging her for her choice of attire.
“I can pose for photos and manage to look smoldering, but in real self-conscious,” she once said during a photo shoot.
Her recent post in which she called out her haters gained several comments complimenting Donna for her physical fitness and applauding her for her confidence.
“Gorgeous and F anyone who tries to tear you down. You look incredible. Period.”
“Be you. You are an amazing person, no matter what. Annie and I just adore you.”
“Those ladies are just jealous and want to steal your sunshine. You are a beautiful woman, inside and out. Love you, my friend.”
Your haters could learn many things from you; you are wise and a great friend. I appreciate you so much.”
“Don’ let any haters drag you down. They are jealous because they are not fit and gorgeous like you. You are an immortal goddess. That’s just a fact. I’m 40, and I have loved you since I was 14. And you have not changed one bit.”
