Be honest. You develop a slight shudder every time you hear the term “dating” thrown around. You know that the whole thing is just a game designed to see how much emotional torment and manipulation people can take. And you’re just sick and tired of it. You’re tired of playing games. You both need to make sure that you understand how difficult things are going to be for the both of you; and you both need to be confident enough in your love to pull you through these tumultuous times. At the core of it all, you need to have a solid foundation of friendship. So that’s why it’s important that you don’t necessarily pressure yourself into rushing through the various parts of your relationship. You don’t always have to be living life in the fast lane. You have to make sure that you are taking things as slowly and as naturally as possible. Do what feels right to the both of you.

And you always want to make sure that you don’t cultivate a high-pressure environment in your relationship. You want to make sure that you aren’t stressing yourselves out.
