Recently Ben Affleck’s 10-year-old son tried to pull a stunt with a Lamborghini, and it backfired – he hit the pricey sports car into another luxury car, but, luckily, no damage occurred.
On Sunday, June 26, the 49-year-old Batman actor went to 777 Exotics, a Bev Hills luxury cars rental dealership, along with his star girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, and son Samuel Garner Affleck. While the couple was looking at different cars, Ben let young Samuel get behind the luxury car wheel.
Samuel hopped into the driving seat and tried to reverse the $225,000 Lamborghini but crashed it into a BMW that was parked right behind it.
The little boy immediately got out of the car and checked for any damage but lucky for him; there was none. Meanwhile, his Oscar-winning father, who was present on the spot, hugged him and reassured him that there was no sign of damage, so he shouldn’t worry.
As per TMZ reports, Ben was standing outside the car when the incident happened, and J-Lo was sitting in the backseat.
Affleck’s representative spoke to the outlet later and shared that there was no sign of damage to any of the two cars.
“There was no damage, and all involved parties were fine in the wake of the incident.” He said.
A 777 Exotics staff member told the outlet that although the cars were parked closely, there was no accident or any sign of damage.
While talking to the New York Post, the dealership staffer said,
“When [Samuel] got into the car, it jerked back and forth, we have a small lot, and the cars are close.”
“Everybody was OK!” he continued. “They seemed happy and continued to browse. The dealership would more than gladly welcome the stars back.”
“Affleck loves cars. We hope they come in again.”
According to People, a source revealed that the Argo director was at the dealership to test drive a new vehicle.
“Ben was at the dealership to test drive a new car…. Sam seemed very interested in the exotic cars. Ben let him get into the driver’s seat of a very expensive Lamborghini, [and] the car ended up reversing into another parked car,”
“There seemed to be no damage to the cars, though. You could tell that Ben very much regretted letting Sam get into the driver’s seat. He seemed upset about it.”
As the news went viral on social media, some people expressed concerns for the safety of the young boy, while others criticized the actor for letting a minor drive.
“Ben Affleck’s son, Samuel, 10, was behind the wheel of his dad’s Lamborghini when the car bumped into a BMW over the weekend. The two were enjoying a day out alongside Ben’s fiancée Jennifer Lopez when the incident occurred.”

“Why was he even behind the wheel? He’s 10. He’s nowhere near the legal age to be driving any vehicle, let alone a Lamborghini.” A person commented.
“Rich people’s problems… must be nice.” Said another.
