Bruce Willis Appears in Rare Family Photo Since his Aphasia Diagnosis

The Die Hard actor appeared in a rare family photo shared by his ex-wife, Demi Moore.

On Tuesday, December 13, Moore took to her Instagram and shared a series of heartwarming photos with the caption, “We are FAMILY!! Getting into the holiday spirit!”

The blended family of eight posed in front of a decorated staircase with a Christmas tree in the background. Willis was holding his daughter Tallulah’s dog while Demi stood beside him with one hand holding his arm and the other placed on the dog.

Willis and Moore’s daughters – Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 28 were seen smiling for the family photo along with their half-sisters, Mabel Ray, 10, and Evelyn Penn, 8.

The post also included an adorable photo of their dogs with Pilaf stealing the show wearing a red sweater.

The G.I. Jane alum’s photo was liked by thousands of people, and her comment section was flooded with appreciative comments from fans and her celebrity pals.

Kylie Richards dropped a heart emoji while Rita Wilson commented, “Merry Christmas Yo all!”

“I love this so much!! I wish my ex-husband would be friends with me. I wish we were still a family,” a fan wrote.

“I love seeing you’re family all together. It’s nice seeing Bruce smile….May god bless you all,” another commented.

“The fact that all of you guys are this way is amazing. Demi Bruce you guys kicked ass at co-parenting. Then seeing pictures like this with his wife and 2 other girls. No toxic no drama. Y’all are all goals! Love you guys! @dobledebruce love you dude, you are amazing,” someone penned.

Heming Willis also commented on Moore’s post, saying, “What a fun evening.”

Earlier this month, 28-year-old Tallulah also shared a sweet family photo featuring Demi, Willis, and her pup, Pilaf, on her Instagram and wrote that she loves her family and her parents.

“The laser beam communication between Pilaf and Papa is stunning. I love my parents and my family – I do I do I do!”

The recent pictures of Bruce came months after his announcement of stepping away from acting.

In March 2022, Willis’s family announced that the award-winning actor had been suffering from a brain disease and he was going to part ways with TV & films.

His family shared that 67-year-old Bruce is going through aphasia, a brain condition that has impacted his cognitive abilities.

Willis’s daughters, Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, and Evelyn, made this announcement in their shared posts on social media.

“To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family, we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities.”

“As a result of this and with much consideration, Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.” His daughters shared on Instagram.

The news was also confirmed by Demi Moore. The family also requested fans to pray for his health in their joint Instagram post. They said this is a difficult time for them, and they want people to respect their privacy.

“This is a really challenging time for our family, and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion, and support.”

“We are moving through this as a strong family unit and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him.”

The post was concluded with a positive note saying,

“As Bruce always says, ‘Live it up,’ together, we plan to do just that.”
