Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have confirmed their rekindled romance as the two were seen hand in hand after packing on PDA at Coachella 2023.
As reported by the Daily Mail, “The 26-year-old former member of Fifth Harmony and 24-year-old Canadian hunk were captured hand-in-hand in Santa Monica on Wednesday in an Instagram Story posted by television personality Jessica Rendall.”
In a video clip shared by Rendall, the pair could be seen holding hands while walking down the street together.
“Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello (!!!) CONFIRMED back together,” the caption read. “It’s not an LA experience without spotting celebs!!!”
The video comes after the couple was spotted exchanging a steamy kiss at Coachella on Friday, April 14.
According to Us Weekly, “The pair arrived at the Indio, California, festival grounds moments apart just before 6 p.m.”
“They were flanked by bodyguards and had a big group around them. They weren’t holding hands, but stayed together all night,” a source revealed to the outlet. “They were in a VIP table, trying to stay out of sight.”
Later in the night, the pair was seen packing on the PDA as “Mendes, 24, had his arm around her waist as they walked to the stage,” the source said. “The PDA continued as the Nigerian rapper played his hit ‘Last Last.’”
“Camila was nuzzling her face into Shawn’s shoulders and they looked like a couple. They also kissed and were making out during Burna Boy’s final song,” the eyewitness added.
The romantic reunion comes a year and half after the couple announced their breakup in a joint public statement.
“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for another as humans is stronger than ever,” the singers announced in November 2021.
“We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward. Camila and Shawn.”
The split announcement surprised fans as they were spotted making out in Miami earlier that month.
Camila and Shawn officially started dating in July 2019 after they were seen holding hands on multiple occasions during the same month.
“In early July, they were seen holding hands in L.A, another time holding hands on the Fourth of July and a third time passionately kissing on a beach in Cabello’s native Miami,” per People.
