The Chelsea Lately talk show host triggered many people after posting a controversial video on social media.
The famous American comedian, actress, and TV host Chelsea Handler recently caused a stir on social media by posting a hilarious video on her socials titled “Day in the Life of a Childless Woman.”
The 47-year-old comedian posted the video as a joke – in fact, it was meant to be a parody of the popular ‘a day in the life’ videos.
However, the video gathered a massive response from users on the internet, including TV show hosts Jesse Kelly, Tucker Carlson, and Ben Shapiro.
In her viral video, Handler narrates her daily routine on a normal day and how she gets through her day like a superhero, given that she has no kids to handle.
“I wake up at 6 am, I remember that I have no kids to take to school so I take an edible, masturbate, and go back to sleep,” Chelsea said in her video as she showed herself having a cup of coffee in the morning and eating a chocolate chip cookie.
“I wake up at 12:30 pm and get ready for a busy day of doing whatever the f**k I feel like,” she continued. “I put on my most impractical and stylish shoes since I won’t be chasing a child around a grocery store.”
Handler took her satirical video to a whole new level by showing herself taking a flight to Paris, climbing Mount Everest, and even time-traveling in the past to kill Hitler.
“I do a meditation sesh on the plane since I have no screaming kids, allowing me all the time in the world to become enlightened. The weightlessness of my existence has granted me superhuman powers,” she joked.
Handler’s video has amassed more than 10 million views on TikTok and Instagram.
While many people enjoyed the video and laughed at her sarcasm, many criticized the Fun Size star for being insensitive to the feelings of people with no children.
“I adore my child-free life!!! I’ve known since I was 14 that I never wanted to give birth!” one user commented on her TikTok.
“People need to understand that it’s just as ok to be happy about not having kids as it is for those to be happy that they do,” said another.
“I’m a happy mom and still find Chelsea hilarious. Humor is humor,” a third added.
“People always said “you’ll change your mind one day”. I’m 37 and still don’t want kids,” another supporter chimed in.
Meanwhile, many didn’t like the video’s concept and criticized the star.
“Is this supposed to be funny, it is a sad statement,” someone wrote on Instagram.
“Tell me you’re sad inside and addicted to SSRI’s without telling me,” commented another.
“All i see is a woman who really wishes she had kids,” a third said.
“Toxic feminism,” another stated.
“So what is the point of this video? You could still do all of these things even if you had children thanks to your wealth and status.
Obviously, you never wanted children and that’s fine. but my point is, if you did have child(ren)- You could easily hire a nanny or two to raise your child(ren) FOR YOU just like every other celebrity,” someone said.
Conservative political commentator Tucker Carlson reacted to Chelsea’s video and called her ‘deeply unlikeable.’
“The point is to make you feel good about being an aging, deeply unlikeable woman who never had kids.”
Jesse Kelly said, “Feminists like Chelsea Handler have been lied to by their society. The idea of being a girl boss and you can do anything a man can do is not true, and everybody should know that if they saw a woman back up a vehicle.”
“Your womb resembles a dried-up tumbleweed blowing down an old western town, and your Valentine’s date for the tenth year in a row is a ten-year-old copy of Magic Mike and a half-full bottle of Xanax.”
Meanwhile, the host of The Daily Wire, Ben Shapiro, called Handler a ‘miserable’ woman and ‘how it’s written all over her face.’
Following the brutal backlash by the conservatives mentioned above, Handler hit back with a savage response.
She posted another video to her social media and ridiculed their misogynistic takes.
“An emergency meeting of the ‘receding hairline society’ to discuss a comedy video,” said Chelsea. “Why would I even need my own children when I get to hear these crybabies all the time?”
“Are you really upset about how much freedom I have, or are you upset you haven’t been able to take it away from me yet?” she said to Tucker.
Chelsea commented on Ben’s take, “Who needs the birth control pill when your voice is 100% effective?” I don’t need a husband, Ben, because I’m in a relationship with myself. And at least in my relationship, someone can get a woman to cum.”
“If you want to respond to my triggers, I will be happy to keep putting out videos as long you want. I think we both know you are hate masturbating to me. And I’m down with that,” she said to Carlson.
