Has Captain America found the woman of his dreams? Well, we’ll see.
Last week a source disclosed to People Magazine that American actor Chris Evans is dating the Portuguese actress Alba Baptista, and it’s quite ‘serious.’
“For over a year, and it’s serious,” the insider revealed. “They are in love, and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her.”
Reps for both Evans and Alba have yet to respond to their relationship rumors.
The 25-year-old Portugal native is known for her roles in ‘Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris’ Netflix’s ‘Warrior Run’ her first English language debut.
Her notable projects include Leviano, Patrick, Nothing Ever Happened, Flutuar, Magnetick Pathways, and Campo de Sangue.
According to People, “She speaks five languages and is the daughter of an engineer and a translator. In 2018, she did an extensive amount of humanitarian work at an orphanage in Cambodia focusing on education. Last year, she won the Shooting Star award at the Berlin Film Festival.”
The news came after the 41-year-old Marvel hero was titled the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ by the magazine.
On Monday, November 8, People Magazine announced that Evans, 41 is officially the Sexiest Man Alive for this year. He took the crown from last year’s winner, Paul Rudd.
Speaking to the publication, the Gray Man actor said he’s anticipating playful harassment from his friends and knows that his mom will love the news.
“She’s proud of everything I do, but this is something she can really brag about,” he said.
“This whole thing is tough to be interviewed about. It feels like a weird form of humble bragging,” he added.
The Fantastic Four actor also said he is looking forward to a future with a good life partner and kids.
“That’s absolutely something I want,” he said. “Wife, kids, building a family,” he told People.
“When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships; the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared.”
“So it’s also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important,” he added. “I love the idea of tradition and ceremony. I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating that — I can’t think of anything better.”
He also said that he has become more mature and much better at handling romance and partnerships.
“You spend a lot of time learning what’s been helpful and what hasn’t been,” Chris said. “We all have patterns, hang-ups or baggage that repeat and echo, so I’ve really been able to kind of identify where I need improvement and what works.”
“I also really see the value and strength behind saying, ‘I’m sorry.’ If you’re able in those vulnerable moments to stay calm and listen, and say you’re sorry even if you don’t think you’ve done anything wrong because it’s not from your perspective, it’s from the other person’s, I think that opens up a door in a very healthy way.”
