Controversial TikToker Dylan Mulvaney Reacts to Trolls Amid Criticism of Her Brand Partnerships

The Trans social media influencer spoke out amid criticism of her brand partnerships.

Speaking about her sponsored brand partnerships with Nike and Bud Light, Dylan said she has been receiving massive criticism from people because her haters believe she is an easy target.

“The reason that I think I am so…I’m an easy target is because I’m so new to this,” Mulvaney said on Tuesday’s “Onward with Rosie O’Donnell” podcast.

“I think going after a trans woman that’s been doing this for like 20 years is a lot more difficult. I think maybe they think that there’s some sort of chance with me … But what is their goal?”

The Trans activist, 26, who gained millions of followers on TikTok and Instagram after transitioning into ‘girlhood,’ sparked controversy when brands like Nike and Bud Light announced her as their new spokesperson.

“These people, they don’t understand me, and anything that I do or say then somehow gets taken out of context and is used against me and it’s so sad because everything I try to put out is positive,” she said. “It’s trying to connect with others that maybe don’t understand me. It’s to make people laugh or to make a kid feel seen.”

Earlier this month, Dylan shared a promotional video for Bud Lights on her Instagram and told her 1.8 million followers that she is so proud to be the brand’s newest spokesperson.

Days later, she posted a promotional post for Nike and announced that she now works with the brand.

The posts received massive outrage and critical remarks from conservatives who accused the brands of pushing ‘gender propaganda’ per New York Post.

“Fellow trans woman Caitlyn Jenner slammed Nike for going ‘woke,’ and country music singer John Rich pulled cases of Bud Light from his Nashville bar.”

Responding to the negativity, Nike addressed the issue and asked people to be ‘kind.’

“You are an essential component to the success of your community!” the company said in a statement. “We welcome comments that contribute to a positive and constructive discussion: Be kind, be inclusive, encourage each other. Hate speech, bullying, or other behaviors that are not in the spirit of a diverse and inclusive community will be deleted.”

Dylan also shared an emotional response post on Instagram and wrote alongside a video of herself singing, ‘No One is Alone.’

“It’s hard to see the light now, just don’t let it go this song felt fitting for the week I’ve been having. All is well! Cheers.”

  1. He’s an easy target and has haters because he does not even remotely represent women and is a prancing idiot. A man with a psychological ailment needs psychiatric help not to be given his 15 minutes for acting a fool. This guy is simply killing it for all is worth and has nothing of value to add to anything or for anyone. He even makes the trans population look bad, or worse than they already do.

  2. Everyone has a right to make their own decisions about their body and not be judged.
It’s a decision that is not to be taken lightly.
It is disheartening to me, a biological woman, that we ( women) are being made a mockery. Women are responsible at ensuring the human race continues to exist, along with having a job/career, running the household, etc. We deserve respect, and I feel Ms. Multante is making a mockery of the gender, ie, her comment on not knowing what March Madness is in her Budlight shoot. The statement makes her seem like a ditz, also making women look ditzy. Just a PSA, most women know what March Madness is.

  3. Women and femininity NOT should be mocked as a costume for mansplainers. Men can NVR leave anything tf alone.
Can’t make it as a man?
    Become a woman. 🤷

  4. He is NOT a women, he is masking as a women and making a mockery and joke out of womanhood and what it is to TRUELY BE A WOMEN and not only is he doing that but is gaining personal fame and fortune from the mockery. If you look in past videos of him his demeanor and flamboyant guy self acts exactly the same, the only thing that changes is how he dresses and claiming “ge is a women”. It is a disgrace abd despicable that he is throwing womanhood in the mud and companies like #Nike are falling into this Wokeness. I will no longer buy Nike products until they change there outlook on who they endorse. Good thing I never liked Budlight tho

  5. What’s so hard about being kind? Not every has to live by your standards. And so what about not buying a product? Corporations as big as AB and Nike have teams of people much smarter than you or I. They’re capitalists and won’t do something that will lose the company money. Lose some close minded bigots, but gain millions more open minded and kind customers from an inclusive and with the times marketing campaign is great marketing. And who wants to sell to trans and homophobes anyways?

  6. This is an outright attack on women and *YOUNG GIRLS* and failing to see that because it feels good to celebrate mentally ill *ADULT MEN* is putting us (women and girls) at risk. For those of you that don’t seem to understand why people are freaking out about Dylan Mulvaney and Bud light.

This has nothing to do with the fact that he is a man with a more feminine style. Who cares if you’re a grown man that wants to put on dresses and heels and pretend that for one moment you know what it’s like to menstruate. Anyway….

What the problem is, is this…..

This is an ADULT MALE not only pretending to be a woman but he chooses to act like a preteen girl. Younger then 13…..he confirms this in his own videos. In his videos he is often running around in nothing but a t-shirt and socks, talking about having crushes on boys and sleepovers. With small underdeveloped breasts, talking like a young girl, acting like a young girl. Talking about periods while he holds a box of tampons.

I need you to understand the horrible effects this is going to have on our society and our children.

You are teaching young girls that adult men at any point can identify as a female and have the mind of someone their age. Someone who wants to have sleepovers with them. That these young girls can trust them. You don’t think there is a problem with this?
Do you understand what kind of society you are building for your daughters, nieces and female cousins by condoning this? You are opening Pandora’s box by allowing this and you are putting actual adolescent females at risk.

The brain of a 28 yr old grown male is completely different then that of a 12 yr old female. Even if he changes his face and body with surgery, even if he dresses and talks like an adolescent female his brain development is that of an ADULT MALE, not an innocent young girl.

What is the sexualization of a young girl?
A report by the American Psychological Association (APA) on the sexualization of girls in the media found that girls are depicted in a sexual manner more often than boys; dressed in revealing clothing, and with bodily postures or facial expressions that imply sexual readiness.

If a mentally ill man can act this way and be praised what can someone else get away with? What can someone do and claim it’s their identity? Large companies like bud light, Nike all over our nation praising this and gifting him things. what are you telling young girls? What are you allowing? This is a slippery slope and guess who suffers in the end? Your children.
if an adult man fantasizes about this 👇🏻 who do you think he’s going to go after next? What’s the next best thing if he can’t get his hands on an adult who acts this way? They only make up a small percentage of our population, so WHO DO YOU THINK HES GOING TO TARGET!??? What’s the closest thing to a Dylan Mulvaney? Oh yes, an actual adolescent girl or boy.
    PULL……YOUR……HEAD…..OUT……OF…..YOUR…..BUTT

I PRAY TO GOD THAT PARENTS START GETTING ANGRY…. THIS IS NOT OK, THIS IS MENTAL ILLNESS. THIS BEHAVIOR IS DANGEROUS.
