Dan Bilzerian, the notorious playboy, has officially announced his transition to monogamy after years of juggling multiple girlfriends. The 43-year-old gained fame through his success as a professional poker player. However, in recent times, he’s become known as one of the internet’s prominent playboys, frequently boasting on podcasts and social media about his numerous relationships.
He’s often referred to as the “King of Instagram,” famous for his lavish lifestyle filled with bikini-clad models and luxurious cars, and boasts of once sleeping with 17 girls in a week. A quick visit to Bilzerian’s Instagram account reveals him surrounded by groups of stunning women, often scantily clad, showcasing his flamboyant lifestyle.
The social media influencer once considered getting with just two women as a rarity for him, but his lifestyle appears to have shifted recently. Now, Bilzerian, 43, has confessed in a recent podcast that he believes a monogamous relationship is a preferable choice.
For those who aren’t familiar, monogamy simply means being in a relationship with only one other person. In a recent episode of the Mighty Pursuit podcast earlier this month, Dan confessed that his days of being a Playboy are behind him as he embraces the monogamous lifestyle.
“I think it’s better to have a monogamous relationship, as strange as that is coming from me,” he said, laughing. “You can find a girl you enjoy spending time with and that you actually trust each other.”
“But I think it’s unlikely to find a woman that is going to be okay with you sleeping with other women that actually cares about you for the right reasons. Even if the girl is okay with it, I think you cause internal damage to her.”
He also expressed feeling “more at ease” when he’s committed to one partner, compared to the constant cycle of engaging with multiple women each day for purely physical reasons.
Discussing his monogamous relationship with Square Mile, the former playboy mentioned, “Yeah. Got a girlfriend. First time. Well, I had a girlfriend before, but I was still f**king other girls.”
He added, “I think I f**ked like three girls before her that day. We just started hanging out … She’s a little different, you know? She’s smart, she’s cool, and she liked a lot of the s*** I like. So here we are.”
Transitioning to monogamy wasn’t simple for the social media star, especially considering his claim of having slept with over 1,000 women.
“A girl has to be super-hot now for me to be even semi-interested,” he said on the podcast. “You just get pickier. I think that’s true of everything. Money, toys, girls — all the hedonistic stuff. You just raise the bar.”
