In a recent episode of her The Drew Barrymore Show, Drew revealed that she and Adam Sandler are discussing doing a new movie together.
Talking to her co-host about Tom Hanks and Robin Wright, the 48-year-old actress-turned-host admitted that she and Adam are up to something new and interesting.
“I love when people we love in movies, like, reteam for a movie. So, I’m gonna ask you on behalf of everyone: you and Adam Sandler, are we doing another one?’ Matthews asked Barrymore.
“We are definitely talking about it. Oh, yeah. For sure,” she replied.
“There’s conversations to find the [right movie]. We’re actively seeking to find the right thing. We’re always — you know, I think it’s very script/story specific.”
After hearing Drew confirm her new project with Sandler, the audience cheered and applauded excitedly.
“I’ll just leave it at that,” the mom-of-two smiled and said.
“That’s all we need to know!” said Ross.
Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler have done three films together – the pair first appeared on the big screen in a rom-com, The Wedding Singer, in 1998.
They also did 50 First Dates in 2004 and Blended movie in 2014.
Since their last appearance in Blended, the duo has not appeared together in any project, and their fans have been missing their on-screen chemistry.
Taking to Twitter, many fans have expressed their excitement about their new movie together.
“I need a new Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore movie asap,” one wrote.
