Trigger Warning: This article contains mentions of suicide that maybe troubling for some readers.
The King of Rock and Roll, who died in 1977 at the age of 42, had one daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, who also passed away recently. Just like her father, Lisa also died of cardiac arrest at the age of 54.
Lisa Marie Presley left behind three children – daughters Riley Keough, 33, Harper Lockwood, and Finley Lockwood, both 14.
The Storm and Grace singer married four men in her life and shared children with two. She had two kids with her first husband, Danny Keough – daughter Riley, 33, and son Benjamin, who died of suicide in 2020. He was 27 years old.
Lisa also had two kids with her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood, whom she married in 2006. The couple welcomed twin daughters – Harper and Finley, in 2008.
The eldest daughter, Riley, is now a part of the entertainment industry and making a name of her own.
She was born to Lisa and Danny in Santa Monica, California, on the 29th of May, 1989.
She is Lisa Marie Presley’s eldest child. After her parent’s divorce, she mostly lived with her father, Danny Keough, and despite his financial struggles, little Riley adored him and his lifestyle.
Riley was mostly homeschooled during her early years due to constant traveling between her parent’s homes. Later she dropped out of high school to pursue a career in modeling.
Unlike her grandfather and mother, Riley chose modeling and acting as a career instead of becoming a musician.
Her notable projects include Zola, The Lodge, The Girlfriend Experience, The Terminal List, Logan Lucky, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Guilty, The Runaways, The Good Doctor, and Daisy Jones, and The Six.
She made her film debut in 2010 at age 20 and appeared in The Runaways alongside Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart. And it’s ‘onwards and upwards’ for Riley ever since.
She was also nominated for her film, The Girlfriend Experience, in the 2017 Golden Globe Awards.
“I always look for designs and shapes I’ve never seen before,” she told Vogue on the red carpet. “I sort of tend to shy away from soft and feminine most of the time.”
If we talk about her looks, the young starlet is an image of her grandfather, Elvis Presley, and granddaughter, Priscilla Presley.
Unlike her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley, Riley has an uncanny resemblance to her grandparents, especially Priscilla Presley.
The redhead beauty is quite active on her Instagram and regularly shares her life updates and stunning pictures on the social media platform.
The model also inherited her grandfather’s iconic estate, The Graceland. She and her younger sisters, Harper and Finley, will share the mansion equally.
“The property, which is in a trust, will benefit Lisa Marie’s three daughters, Riley, Harper, and Finley,” PEOPLE Magazine confirmed.
According to Rolling Stone, Elvis bought Graceland in 1957 for $100,000. In 2020, the property’s worth was reported to be around $500 million.
“Its income is still impressive: “Forty million a year for a guy who died over 40 years ago is fucking incredible,” says an executive who works with a leading classic-rock act,” the outlet wrote.
