American fashion designer Vera Wang has once again amazed her fans with her stunningly young looks – people claim that she possesses a ‘fountain of youth’
Last week, the fashion icon shared a post on Instagram where she was pictured chilling by a poolside wearing a flimsy red swimsuit.
“The stunning 73-year-old, who appears to be vacationing in her favorite celebrity hangout, the Hamptons, captioned the images: “LADIES IN RED Moulin Rouge Hamptons style.” Per VT.
Her post received hundreds of comments by fans who praised the 73-year-old for her fitness and girlish looks.
“Vera, what is your fountain of youth? Please tell us,” one fan asked.
“Among all women of all ages, I’d have to opine that you are 10. Looking so fantastic as usual.” Commented another.
“OMG!!!! What do you eat? Like what is your secret to looking younger than many 30-year-olds? Are you even for real?!!!” Someone else wrote.
On contrary, some people also commented on her insanely slender frame and said this is not healthy and shouldn’t be promoted or praised.
“Someone please give her a sandwich,” one user said.
“What happened to you guys? Why are you idealizing her? She is freaking 73 years old but looks like a 7-year-old instead. Insane!!!!” another wrote.
“Is she disappearing?” asked another sarcastic user.
According to PEOPLE, ‘before she created iconic wedding gowns for stars like Kim Kardashian West, Victoria Beckham, and Jessica Simpson, Vera Wang made a name for herself at just 23 years old when she joined Vogue and quickly became one the magazine’s youngest ever fashion editors.’
After working with Vogue for more than two decades, the New York native worked with Ralph Lauren for a couple of years in the 1980s before she decided to open up her own fashion brand.
“In 1994 her own label, Vera Wang, was born, according to FMD. Since then celebrities have flocked to the designer, who has custom-created gowns for the world’s most rich and famous.”
Wang designed wedding dresses for many celebrities including Victoria Beckham, Ariana Grande, and Hailey Bieber.
“Wang’s talents have not been limited to wedding dresses, however, as many celebrities have been seen sporting evening wear created by the designer – including former FLOTUS Michelle Obama, and actresses Viola Davis and Sofia Vergara, per multiple sources.” VT wrote.
The iconic fashion designer has achieved so much in her successful career including an award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013.
According to a 2021 Forbes report, Wang made to the list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women.
“Placed in 61st place after the famed designer’s revenues amounted to a whopping $500 million that year. Impressive!”
