YouTube bodybuilding star Joesthetics, real name Jo Lindner has tragically died at the age of 30.
The influencer passed away from aneurysm days after complaining about neck pain. A few weeks before his tragic passing, Jo said he feared ‘over-training’ would give him a heart attack because of his rare muscular condition.
The German fitness guru, who has over 9 million people following him on Instagram and YouTube, was famous for sharing his workouts, training routines, fitness tips, and meals on social media.
Jo’s passing was confirmed by his girlfriend, Nicha, who revealed he died in her arms.
“Jo is the best place everyone,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Yesterday his passed away by aneurysm.. I was there with him in the room.. he put on the necklace in my neck that he made for me ..
than ..we was just lay down cuddle..waiting the time to go meet Noel at the gym at 16.00.”
“He was in my arms.. than this is just happening too fast.. 3 days ago he kept said that he pain his neck .. we not really realize it… until it too late. At this moment I couldn’t write anything much
Trust me this man is more than what you ever know.. he so sweet kindness strong and HARD WORK MAN and loyalty and honesty smart,” she continued.
“And he is the believer in EVERYONE. Specially ME he believes in me that I could be better and be someone in this world. When everyone else just laugh about it.”
Before his unexpected death, Jo was waiting for his bodybuilder friend, Noel Deyzel, so they could go to the gym together.
After his passing, Noel, who has over 4 million followers on Instagram, wrote a heartfelt message for his dear friend.
“Rest in peace, Jo,” Noel wrote. “I still keep checking my phone waiting for your reply so we can meet at the gym.”
“I’m broken bro, you opened your arms up to us, you showed us so much about life and social media. Your generosity towards myself and others will forever stay with me. I still don’t believe this is true because you still had so much to do and go for.”
The fitness enthusiasts continued, “You made one huge impact in the world bro and you will never be forgotten. The legacy you created will live on forever and people will be inspired for years to come.”
“I just don’t know what to say anymore. It hurts to know you are gone forever man. I love you bro, rest easy.”
