Gigi is okay with Zayn Dating Selena!
As reported by Us Weekly, an insider revealed that the 27-year-old supermodel is supportive of his ex’s new relationship with whomsoever it may be with, as long as he is happy.
“Gigi has no problem whatsoever with Zayn dating. As long as he is happy and stable and continues to be a good co-parent to [their daughter] Khai, she’s fine with whoever he goes out with.”
The source added that Gigi has moved on from Malik and is happy with her new life without him.
The Dusk Till Dawn singer recently sparked romance rumors with Selena Gomez after the two were spotted having dinner together in NYC.
“TikTok user Klarissa Garcia posted a viral video in which she claimed a friend of hers is a hostess at a restaurant where Zayn and Selena dined together. Klarissa then showed a screen-grab of her friend’s WhatsApp messages claiming that she saw the pop stars kissing at the eatery,” per Daily Mail.
The TikToker shared a screenshot of her WhatsApp chat with her friend in which she revealed that Zayn and Selena walked into the restaurant she works, and they were not only holding hands but also making out.
“Tell me how Selena Gomez and Zayn just walked into [restaurant] hand in hand making out, and I seated them,” the friend wrote.
The news came a few weeks after fans noticed that Gomez, 30, followed Malik back on Instagram, where the Night Changes singer has been following her for a while now. Gomez is one of the 18 people Zayn follows on the platform.
Gigi and Zayn are parents to their two-year-old daughter, Khai whom they welcomed in September 2020.
“Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful,” Zayn announced on Twitter.
“Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend, and she’s already changed our world. So in love,” Gigi wrote on Instagram.
In October 2021, the former lovebirds eventually broke up due to Malik’s conflicting relationship with Gigi’s mom, Yolanda.
“They are not together right now. They are both good parents, though. They co-parent. Yolanda is, of course, very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild,” one of Hadid’s friends told PEOPLE.
“Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time.”
The former couple decided to co-parent their child, even celebrated her birthdays, and credited each other where they had to. They were also following each other on Instagram until now – after Gigi’s reported affair with actor Leonardo DiCaprio, Malik unfollowed her on Instagram. Gigi still follows him, well, at least for now!
