Hailey Baldwin, now famous as Hailey Bieber, is an American model and socialite who’s been featured in major ads for big brands like Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ralph Lauren.
The 25-year-old model has been married to the famous teenage sensation Justin Bieber since 2018.
“The couple tied the knot in September 2018 at a New York City courthouse and held a second, more traditional ceremony with friends and family in South Carolina a year later.”
In 2016, the Baby singer spoke to GQ in an interview and shared that he couldn’t commit to any serious relationship after Gomez because he was afraid that might hurt his then-friend, Hailey.
“What if Hailey ends up being the girl I’m gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it’s always gonna be damaged,” he said. “It’s really hard to fix wounds like that. It’s so hard. … I just don’t want to hurt her.”
Although the duo dramatically split from each other in later 2016, however, they reunited in 2018 and wasted no time and got married.
“The pair separated as Justin rekindled his on-off relationship with Selena Gomez in late 2017, but they found their way back to each other in June 2018 during a cozy vacation in Miami. One month later, the pop star confirmed that he and the model were engaged,” Per Us Weekly.
In August 2018, a source revealed to the outlet that the US model positively influenced the Canadian singer.
“Hailey has calmed Justin down a lot, and she has changed him as a man. He thinks she is his forever and considers her his best friend and soul mate. Justin is over his crazy phase, more approachable, and has been talking to many fans when he’s out. He’s happy to show the world that Hailey is his girl and he feels at ease with her.”
Recently, Hailey appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper and addressed the claims of stealing Bieber from his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
“People were obsessed with [Justin and Selena] being together. Were you ever with Justin romantically at the same time as her?” asked Cooper.
Hailey responded, “This is so crazy I’ve literally never talked about this ever. A lot of the hate and perpetuation comes from like, ‘Oh you stole him.’ It’s about people knowing the truth because there’s a truth.”
Previously, on a few occasions, Hailey shared that she faced a lot of hate from people because of coming in the middle of Justin and Selena; the two were together for almost eight years before Justin married Hailey and even rekindled their love for a brief duration when the singer broke up with her now-wife in 2017.
“Enough time has gone by,” Hailey said in April 2022. “I’m minding my business. I don’t do anything, I don’t say anything. Leave me alone, please.” – Page Six.
“I beg of you. Truly. That’s my only request. Be miserable somewhere else, please.”
In 2020, in an interview with Ashley Graham, Hailey said that she didn’t date the ghost singer when he was in a romantic relationship with Gomez.
“People don’t know, too, we had been talking for a while before we got back together. Contrary to popular belief, he had been single for a while, and I had been single, and we were kind of just trying to figure life out.”
