The German-American model is looking forward to starting a family with her third husband, Tom Kaulitz.
The 49-year-old TV host and businesswoman appeared on Thursday’s episode of the Jennifer Hudson Show and discussed the possibility of having a kid with her 33-year-old partner, Tom.
“It depends on what day it is, sometimes I’m here [for it], sometimes here [where I am not], you know?” said Heidi.
“I mean, it’s a lot. I’ve done it four times. I breastfed eight months each time [with my four kids], and then I was pregnant again. Three times in a row. Again [my children are] 18, 17, 16, and then 13. Now I waited a long time, so maybe [yes].”
Klum, who hosted the reality television series Project Runway from 2004 to 2017, is already a mother to four children – Leni, 18, Henry, 17, Johan, 16, and Lou, 13.
She had married thrice in her life so far; in 1997, she married an Australian hairstylist, Ric Pipino. Their marriage ended in 2002.
After her divorce from Ric, she started dating an Italian businessman, Flavio Briatore, with whom she welcomed her first daughter, Leni, in 2004.
In 2005, Klum married the British singer and songwriter Seal. The couple stayed together until 2014 and welcomed three kids together: Henry, John, and Lou.
After parting ways with Seal, Heidi married for the third time in 2019 – after dating Kaulitz for a year, she tied the knot with him.
Tom Kaulitz is a German guitarist, songwriter, and producer. He is a prominent member of the band Tokio Hotel.
Speaking about Kaulitz, Heidi once said that he is amazing and he blended really well into her family after their marriage.
“[Tom’s] amazing,” she told Us Weekly in January 2022. “I’m sure it’s not easy to step into an immediate family, having all of a sudden four kids and teenagers. They were easier when they were younger, for sure. Every age comes with its challenges. … It’s beautiful. It’s fun. I mean, so far, so good.”
In March 2020, she told Redbook that raising her four kids with her ex-husband, Seal is hard.
“Sometimes it’s hard, but then you have to all come together as a family, and sometimes everything is just like hopping on clouds. It’s just the way it is.”
In an interview in May 2021, Seal told Us that he and Klum work as a team to co-parent their children.
“It can be challenging. It requires teamwork. If you are a team, if both parents are a team, then it’s really easy and that’s not a real challenge at all … but you have to be a team. And if you’re not a team, then it can all fall to pieces.”
