Hollywood Superstar Gary Busey Charged with Sexual Offense Charges in New Jersey

Gary Busey, 78, is a well-known and Oscar-nominated Hollywood superstar – he has been charged with multiple sexual offense charges at the Monster Mania Convention in New Jersey. Busey, who’s known for his iconic role in the “Buddy Holly Story,” is now facing four counts consisting of one count of harassment, one count of criminal sexual contact, and two counts of sexual criminal contact.

Busey was in attendance at the Monster Mania Convention, where this crime took place. The convention went from the 12th to 14th of August. Police initially did not respond to the charges and responded on Saturday.

The Monster Mania Convention is an event that features memorable horror movies, and fans from all over the USA attend – a three-day event where Gary Busey was appearing as a guest. According to the Cherry Hill Police Department:

“A California man is facing sexual offense charges stemming from incidents occurring at the annual Monster Mania Convention hosted by the Doubletree Hotel in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

“The investigation into this matter is ongoing and anyone with additional information is urged to contact Detective Robert Daniello of the Cherry Hill Police Department.”
