How do you break up with your boyfriend over texts without hurting him?

How do you break up with your boyfriend over texts without hurting them? It depends entirely on the recipient, honestly. I remember an ex-girlfriend of mine once broke up with me over an unfortunate text message, it was pretty painful, but I got over it pretty quickly. I guess it didn’t hold enough power to have that big of an effect. So I would recommend being as straight with them as possible, they will greatly appreciate your honesty. It’s up to them to accept or reject it, but it’s your job to be straight with them and not beat them around the bush.

Breaking up over text messages is never recommended, you need to respect the other person enough to tell them face to face. But sometimes, the situation is such that you’re unable to bring yourself around to go in front of them. Maybe they cheated on you so badly that you can’t face them, perhaps you don’t want to hear the reasons again, maybe you’re just tired of the stories. It could be because of a LOT of reasons, but we need to get to the question at hand.

How do you break up with someone you still love?

It’s one of the most challenging things in the world to break up with someone you’re still in love with, but it’s necessary sometimes. They’re hurting you, and you don’t want any negativity in your life anymore, you are tired of the pain and the hurt, you want to move on towards a brighter future and a happier life. You need to tell yourself that you deserve all of the happiness this life has to offer, life is short, and you can’t keep waiting on someone’s approval; you can’t keep hearing “no” from them, and you can’t keep taking the hurt and the trauma. Move on towards a brighter future with someone who will take care of you.
